May 14 Bridges Literal and Metaphoric
Honoring Bridges as literal metaphors …..let us aspires to be a bridge…. as are the people, the living and the dead, whom we honor this hour… the bridging work of Idries Shah, his son, Tahir Shah, Fatema Mernissi, and Peter Kingsley….
The Moroccan Journey is never ending…
Noting the resonance of 5+ Taurus, whose Sabian Image is “ a Cantilever Bridge over a Rocky Gorge….building connections…finding a way to get from here to there…..finding a way outta noway…..like High John de Conquer …
When MLK Jr was born, Chiron was at 5+ Taurus
When he was assassinated Mars was at 5+ Taurus
When George Floyd was born – Mars retro at 5+ Taurus
When Rene’e Good was born – Jupiter was at 5+ Taurus
Tim Walz – a living bridge, has Mercury at 5+ Taurus,
And my relocation chart for Marrakech, has 5+ Taurus rising…
Honoring literal and metaphoric bridges….
Reminding us of the demonic destruction of the Karaj B1 Bridge in Iran, by US Dementors…..
Dark o Moon – we gather to guide – to Saturday’s New Moon, exalted in Taurus of participatory Animism….
And honor the mythological resonance of place….

April 30 Replay: Rising Aroused in Apocalyptic Times

Caroline re-plays a portion of her November 12th talk in Sonoma, so that we all might be Rising Aroused in Apocalyptic Times….
BodhiSattva Coyote’s astro*mytho*politico guide to navigating this dangerous, opportune time with Dark humor, Grief, Community alchemical magic and jaunty Trickster pluck.
Not averting our gaze from the cruel horror of our rampaging rogue species…. We are definitely in Act IV – which is evil, and are assigned the task of crafting Act V – Redemption
First by understanding that the domestic tyranny before us is a grotesque animation of all that is unaddressed in America’s shadow….
At this time of mega accelerating collapse, it behooves us all to animate the opportunities so generously proffered too us, lest we leave the fate of the world to the dementors…
Tyranny has always attacked Community – because tyranny is a cult – the toxic mimic of Community. So, Let’s compost the “cult” out of culture.

April 02 Visitations from the Holy Ordinary

Liberating Trickster Kinship arising from Grief… Maundy Thursday – Maundy Thursday is named after the Latin word mandatum (“mandate”), referring to the new commandment Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper to “love one another.”
Caroline welcomes Terry Tempest Williams, award winning author of over 20 books, dedicated cultural voice on behalf of what she loves, and what she is in Nature… the most recent of which is The Glorians: Visitations from the Holy Ordinary…

Terry Tempest Williams Website

“In this time of political fragility, climate chaos, and seeking hope wherever we can find its glimmer, Terry Tempest Williams introduces us to the Glorians. They are not distant deities, but the ordinary, often overlooked presences—animal, plant, memory, moment—that reveal our shared vulnerability and interconnectedness with the natural world. The Glorians can be as small as an ant ferrying a coyote willow blossom to its queen or as commonplace as the night sky. But what they can collectively teach us—about the radical act of attending to beauty and carrying forward against all odds—is immense.

But what they can collectively teach us—about the radical act of attending to beauty and carrying forward against all odds—is immense.
“Journeying through encounters with the Glorians in the red rock desert of Utah during the pandemic to Harvard University where she teaches in the Divinity School, Williams weaves a story of astonishing personal and societal insight. As she grapples with the unsettled state of the world, she turns not to despair but to deep reflection. She sees how the Glorians are calling us all to attention, not as an army, but as fellow inhabitants of our sacred, threatened home. They remind us of the power of contact between species and the profound courage—and awareness—it will take to dream a more cohesive future into being.
“Wise and lyrical, The Glorians is a testament to the power of witness, a field guide to finding grace in the unexpected, and a moving invitation to engage with one another and our surroundings with renewed intention. In a modern world filled with increasing noise and anxiety, Terry Tempest Williams offers honest sustenance for the mind and spirit and distinguishes herself again as a trusted voice to whom we can turn to more fully understand our times.”
