Victor and Alexander discuss how the stigma behind kratom has seen a much needed recent decrease. This decrease is in part due to dedicated research and scientific exploration surrounding kratom. As such, this now helps shed positive light on all the amazing benefits kratom offers. Unfortunately, a lot of this positive information and research about kratom was kept from the public for years. In part due to ignorance and in part due to regulatory abuse, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) successfully perpetuated a gross misinformation campaign about kratom for decades. The FDA's shielding positive information from the public and pushing false information perpetuated a very negative narrative about kratom. The American Kratom Association (AKA) and fellow kratom supporters, like ETHA fight vehemently daily to dispel this misinformation. Thanks to the state level Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA) and the newly filed Federal Protect Consumer Access to Kratom Act (FPCAK), we are making very promising strides forward for kratom and the public's access to this miracle plant.

The FPCAK was filed in both the House and Senate as of December 2022. This is a pinnacle moment for kratom and kratom consumers, and a huge step towards the protection of access to kratom for millions of Americans.
