Yes, you heard right, a print magazine. We know print has been dead since social media and technology took over the World and Surfing just hasn’t been the same!  Although “Free Surf” is still in print, there are also rumors that Surfer Mag is also making a comeback. So, we all know there is plenty of room and need to have a few successful magazines to preserve, document, and cover all that is happening in the world of Surfing.  Well Volume 1, Number 3, is out now so go to your local Surf Shop to grab a copy! We are pumped to hear more about and help promote “Surf WC Mag” and we welcome George Salvador, Terry Carmadella, and Ricky Blake to the Show!

Our guest this week is an unbelievable Surfer out of Brazil, who has been a standout in the lineup for years, and he is only 23 years old. His aerial antics and powerful rail game is next level and having those 2 combinations make him a threat in any conditions. When Stab throws out the question- “Is Mateus Herdy A Julian Wilson Reincarnated” You know this kid is the real deal. He just missed out on qualifying for the WCT in a couple of back-to-back years, but that hasn’t stopped him from being in the spotlight.  He is a World Junior Champion, finished 3rd in the CT Event in Mexico, and is a standout on Stab Magazine whether it is Stab High, Stab Highway California or Stab Edit of the Year entry. We welcome this next-level and highly creative Wizkid--Mateus “MATTY“ Herdy.

Our guest this week is a young Super Star out of Bryon Bay! He is an electric and raw surfer with a unique style in and out of the water that reminds me a lot of a young “ARCHY”! He loves music, guitar, acting, working on cars, and art! This kid has already made a name for himself, and has set his eyes on qualifying for the World Tour! Our guest this week is a Surfer, Songwriter, Producer, Event Creator, and Firefighter/Paramedic. He went to San Clemente HS and graduated from UCLA with a degree and focus on the music industry. He must be a smart and hard-working dude, because he became a Firefighter/Paramedic which gave him the stability to chase his passion for music. He put on Music Festival and Art Show Charity Events called “Dead Man’s Luau” raising money to give back to awesome organizations like Surfers Healing Foundation and Maui First Responders.  We are excited to hear more about his story and welcome to the show Mr. Wes “CHILLER“ Miller.

Our guest today is one of the most stylish and recognized surfers of all time. To say that he has a larger-than-life personality, is an understatement. He has won multiple Pro Tour Events, came in second in the world in 1991. Later in his career, he became a Big Wave Madman having won the prestigious Billabong XXL on a ginormous 68-foot wave.  He is one of the most passionate surfing coaches in the sport. He brings his life experiences, surf techniques, and diverse training background into the art of surfing through the most powerful and comprehensive surf training program available “WAVE KI”. A true legend in the sport, an entertainer, storyteller, and one of the most animated people we know, we welcome our friend, SENSEI Brad “GERR” Gerlach!
