Ohio State scored 100 points for the second consecutive game Monday night, but Doug Gottlieb’s Green Bay team pushed the Buckeyes for 30 minutes until the dam eventually broke. Bruce Thornton scored a season-high 25 points, and he spoke to the media after the game.

Bruce talked about his preparation for every home game — he reads his Bible in the morning, gets Subway for lunch, takes a short nap, and wears his lucky socks and shoes. He said nothing was different on Monday. He just happened to come one assist shy of a 25-point, 10-assist double-double.

Sean Stewart also spoke to the media after an 11-point, eight-rebound performance over a season-high 22 minutes. He said he was glad to be able to play after missing the last game with a concussion, and took time to talk about how well he and Devin Royal work together on the floor.

Both head coaches — Jake Diebler and Doug Gottlieb — spent the majority of their time gushing about Thornton. Diebler said his point guard is the best in the country. Gottlieb said Thornton is his favorite Ohio State point guard since Scoonie Penn.

Ohio State started slowly again, but the Buckeyes took care of the previously undefeated Indiana Hoosiers in a game we thought would be closer but could have been even more lopsided than the 38-15 score indicates. We broke down the game’s key moments, looked at the statistical data, checked in on our score predictions, and learned that all of our picks to click actually clicked. It was a comprehensive victory by the Buckeyes and it’s entirely possible that despite its accomplishments this year, Indiana might not be for real.

Following our game recap, we looked around the rest of the Big Ten to check in on all the other scores, including a rivalry battle out in the City of Angels and Nebraska finally becoming bowl eligible. Wisconsin is left needing a win in a rivalry game of its own this weekend or the Badgers won’t be going bowling. Rutgers was a minute from victory and ended up losing. Minnesota threw a big scare into Penn State. Poor seasons for Purdue, Maryland, and Northwestern didn’t get any better over the weekend.

Finally, we turned our attention to Hate Week. That Team Up North has played solid defense all season but the offense is a one-trick pony. We talked about TTUN’s statistical numbers on the offensive side of the ball, made our picks to click for The Game, and tried our best to predict the final score.

After three seasons, assistant coach Wesley Brooks moved on to his own head coaching role with Utah State. In Brooks’ first season leading a program, the planets aligned to pit the Aggies and Buckeyes against each other this week at the Daytona Beach Classic.

Land-Grant talked with Brooks on the latest episode of the “LG WBB Podcast.” Brooks talked about his time at Ohio State, what he’s applying from the Kevin McGuff style of play and his feelings on playing the Buckeyes in his first season at Utah State.

Welcome to a new episode of Land-Grant Podcast Network’s Power Two Podcast. On this show, we talk about Big Ten and SEC football…and everyone else. This show is for the die-hard fans and the casual college football fans. After every week of action, we will catch you up on all the major matchups of the previous weekend and look ahead at the games, storylines, and players you should be paying attention to for the next week. My name is Jordan Williams, and I am joined by my co-host DaNaysia Jones. Lock in as we run a power sweep through the college football landscape.

The coach's carousel continues as Jordan and DJ rattle off all the firings that have occurred up until now. Most of the coach firings have occurred in the Group of Five but there are still questions about where these schools will source their successors. Ashton Jeanty hits the 2,000-yard mark this season and further cements himself as a Heisman favorite.

This week was a chaotic one! Six upsets and seven ranked team losses stir the postseason pot. Many teams that were deemed powerhouses at the beginning of the season are starting to crumble while other teams emerge from under the radar. The SEC is going up in flames as more teams reach the dreaded three-loss threshold. It all comes down to the Texas - Texas A&M game to determine who will play for the SEC title. The BIG 12 confusion still reigns supreme as there is no clear title contender after 11 weeks of football. SMU and Oregon await their conference championship opponents. With a bruised and battered Ashton Jeanty, does Boise State have what it takes to win the Mountain West and punch their card to the playoffs?

The College Football Playoffs are still in the air with only 9 “guaranteed” teams. Jordan and DJ have an extensive discussion on who is currently “in” and “out”. Many factors will determine the final twelve and there is still lots of football to be played.

In the pregame power sweep, DJ and Jordan share some rivalry games and games of consequence. This week we suggest: Friday: Georgia-GT, Minnesota-Wisconsin, Oregon State-Boise, Noon: Ohio State - Michigan; South Carolina-Clemson, Mid-Day: Notre Dame - USC, Miami-Syracuse, Auburn - Bama, and Primetime: Texas - Texas A&M.

The two-minute warning consists of Jordan discussing the NWSL champion and Kendrick Lamar’s new album. DJ discusses Wicked and The Jefferson Monticello.

Ohio State women's basketball played its second game against a MAC opponent this week, and it ended pretty much the same as their Wednesday trip to Athens, Ohio. The Buckeyes defeated the Bowling Green Falcons 96-53 and after the game head coach Kevin McGuff, Kennedy Cambridge and Ava Watson spoke with the media.

Watson talked about growing comfort as she adjusts to her first season playing NCAA basketball, Cambridge walked through what was on her mind leading up to an emphatic block, playing with her sister and getting onto the court for the first time in almost two years.

McGuff ended the press conference talking about the Buckeyes' withstanding early pressure from the Falcons but their conditioning bringing them through, the perimeter play of Ohio State and the consistent play of Taylor Thierry being a foundation of stability on the roster.

We are back for another recap episode of Hangout in the Holy Land, and Josh and Justin have a fun one to discuss.

The No. 2 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers 38-15, and it was a fun one to watch, especially as Jim Knowles dialed up the defense.

Indiana took an early 7-0 lead, but it was all Ohio State after that, outscoring the Hoosiers 38-8 to end the game and head into the game next week against The Team Up North 10-1 and one game away from the Big Ten Championship.

We discuss everything we liked, things that need to be cleaned up, the players of the game and what we think of Curt Cignetti and the Indiana program he is building.

On today’s episode of “Land-Grant Uncut,” we are bringing you unedited audio from the postgame press conference following Ohio State's 38-15 victory over No. 5 Indiana in Ohio Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 23. We heard from a variety of players as well as head coach Ryan Day. The media availability starts with linebacker Cody Simon before Day, safety and punt returner Caleb Downs, and quarterback Will Howard take their turns at the podium.

All four discuss the blowout victory over the previously undefeated Hoosiers, thank the crowd, and praise the rest of the team. However, everyone has also turned the page to start thinking about the Michigan Wolverines who will come to Columbus next Saturday.

About 30 minutes after Ohio State’s 104-60 beatdown of the Campbell Fighting Camels, head coach Jake Diebler sat down and spoke to the media about the game and the elephant in the room — Aaron Bradshaw.

The sophomore forward who transferred to Ohio State from Kentucky in the spring was not available on Friday night and is not participating in any team activities, per a university statement. The statement said that “per federal privacy law” Diebler cannot comment further.

When asked, Diebler referenced the statement but acknowledged that he understood that there are more questions right now than there are answers. He was unable to comment on if there was a timeframe for his return if Bradshaw needed to do certain things to come back, or if he would rejoin the team at all this year.

Meechie Johnson and Evan Mahaffey also spoke to the media briefly about the 44-point win and Bradshaw’s absence. The two were unaware that at one point in the game Ohio State had connected on 10 consecutive three-pointers.
