Totally His...Sweet, funny and definitely has it's charm. Perfect ending to a great series.

Totally His (Opposites Attract book 3) by Erin Nicholas

Wow! Erin Nicholas really is a Rock Star. I love her writing style. She puts all the elements that make a great book into her books. Often she goes above and beyond what is needed. I truly enjoyed this book. I am sad to know it is the last in the Opposites Attract Series. (At least for now I hope) This book has a great plot line. It has some great plot lines for secondary characters. This book is unique in the fact that not only do you have firemen and police officers but you have geeks. You also get a lot of emotion. I cried and laughed and my heart swooned and I even got angry (at Frank). The perfect ending to a great series. You feel all the characters emotions when you read Totally His. The characters struggles are realistic and as a reader you find yourself being able to relate. I just loved every moment of the book. To write like Erin Nicholas would be a dream come true. To have half her talent and creativity would also be a dream come true. Just pure talented. In Totally His we finally get Sophie's story.

Sophia "Sophie" Birch is an actress. She loves all things theater. Sophie is sassy and smart and very independent.

Frank is Sophie's father and nothing more than a con man and a lousy man in general and we hate Frank. EVERYBODY HATES FRANK!!!

Finn Kelly is a police officer. Finn's mom Angie is good friends with Sophie. From the moment Finn meets Sophie he is instantly smitten with her. Finn is charming and sweet.

Totally His is a great romance novel. Erin Nicholas did an amazing job. Just an all around enjoyable read. Totally His was so good I could not stop reading it and read it all in one sitting. I also read Totally His a second time and I kid you not I am on my third read of Totally His. I hope one day Erin Nicholas will give us more in this series and maybe do a spin off. I love all her books and always buy her books no matter what she's just that good. I give this a definite Five Stars.

Heroes and Heroines don't always act how you think they should... and that's okay

Sophie is an actress. She loves theater and is part owner of a local community theater that her grandmother left her. Unfortunately, the other part owner is Frank, Sophie's father. We hate Frank and it's ok with Erin Nicholas! Frank is a con man. He had always used and taken advantage of people. He takes advantage of Sophie, taking money he hasn't earned from her and the theater. He also steals and cons money from other people.

Finn is a police officer. He meets Sophie when there is a fire at her theater. He is taken by her. Later, he's shocked to learn that Sophie and his mom are very good friends and Finn's mom purposely had kept Sophie from him.

Sophie and Finn want to be together but family issues when to keep them apart.

Overall great sequel!

Read the first in the series which gave great context to this book. I enjoyed the author's way of delving into the characters! In this book, she depicted real life issues, which were interesting to see unfold. I did think one of the main characters got borderline tiresome, but was saved by the end pf the book. Overall, good book!

Excellent Audio!

I loved Summer's Cove. Great characters. Great location, how can you go wrong with Ptown. Excellent follow up to Winter's Harbor. BUT it will stand alone. You do not need to go back and reread Winter's Harbor. Unless you want to. Loved the story. Hollis Elizabeth did a great job with the narration.

Members Reviews:

Sexy quick listen

This was a sorter audiobook with elements of romance and ménage situations..when two friends meet the heroine they are drawn to her immediately. The first to meet her, however, is blatantly insulting to her. When his friend and business partner finds out it aggravates him, but they find out shes the new office manager hired for their office. They pursue a relationship, but because of the first meeting with Matt, she kind of blocks them out. She wants a baby, but when the two guys find out how she intends to get one the cards all go on the table. Entertaining story, good narration. Nice afternoon listen!

Meh...

Audibles Romance Package is fan-freakin-tastic! I love being able to explore new-to-me authors and short novellas without feeling invested. Maybe I just wasnt in the right mood to enjoy this book. Ill give it another try and update this review at that time. This review isnt as much for the book as it is for Audibles genius, offering all-you-can read with plenty of well-loved authors. No, you dont get to keep the books, which is fine for me because it is extremely rare for me to read a book more than once. The only negative about the Romance Package is the lack of ability to track which books Ive read. Hopefully, leaving a review will take care of that. I wouldnt purchase or spend a credit on this book, but Ill definitely give it another try as long as it remains in this program. This, along with the new channels that offer a super wide variety of listening material, including several full-length audiobooks, keeps Audible head and shoulders above any competitors they might have! Audible! My Number One guilty pleasure!

Rachel finds 2 cowboys to make a family

Rachel has her Masters and is starting her new job, but still wants someone special in her life to start a family with. When she attempts to introduce herself to her new boss Matt, he misunderstands who she is and offends her. Too bad Matt realizes too late that Rachel is everything he and Ethan have been looking for in their Bridgewater relationship.

A good choice for a very sexy, lightweight time-out; but still has loving relationships and a HEA.

Stewart does a creditable job with the narration.

I enjoyed listening to this book as a Romance Membership selection.

awesome

Absolutely loved listening to this. I really like how kylie narrates the whole story. Just how I thought it would sound

Title: A Baumgartner Anniversary

Author: Selena Kitt

Narrator: E.V. Grove

Format: Unabridged

Length: 32 mins

Language: English

Release date: 09-15-17

Publisher: Excessica Publishing

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 4 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

The amorously adventurous Baumgartners are back and they have cause to celebrate.

As their son Henry gets married, Doc and Carrie have sent their last little fledgling off to fly and are ready to follow their bliss together as a couple.

The whole Baumgartner clan has now welcomed Doc and Carrie's latest romantic interest, Jody, a changeable, charming Southern belle whose colloquialisms keep everyone delightfully amused.

While Carrie's love for Jody goes way back, now Doc has fully embraced her, too - in so many ways.

In fact, on the eve of the Baumgartners' anniversary, Doc has a wonderful surprise for both of his girls....

Members Reviews:

Sorry, can't get into the transgender angle

I read this because Iâve read the entire Baumgartner series and am curious where the characters go in their lives. Sadly, I donât like this very much, as I canât get into the whole transgender thing with Jodie, introduced in the previous story.

No, really, I donât want to read about Doc taking it in the wazoo, no matter how sexy and charming and Southern the female-above-the-waist Jodie is. And the totally breathless threeway marriage they and Carrie are privately entering into doesnât trip my HEA trigger, either. Sorry if that makes me Neanderthal.

Kitt drops here that Doc and Carrieâs threesomes over the years had always been with other women because Doc was jealous of other men. Thatâs not my recollection. They were always positioned as a chance for the bisexual Carrie to get in some girl-girl time, with Doc getting to enjoy two women at once. And Kitt loves writing her girl-girl scenes.

Now, though, it feels like Doc is being trashed, and must redeem himself by being sodomized. And being THAT open-minded is the price a male must pay to prove heâs âwokeâ and entitled to sexual liberty. Thatâs a fairly man-hating stance. Iâve enjoyed the Baumgartners, but now must part ways with them.

A real let-down

The poorest of the Baumgartner series. A real let-down.

Five Stars

I really enjoyed the series I wish there was more

She needs to write more swinger stories

I really hope Selena reads this. I think she is one of the best writers here; I like many of her Baumgartner series, and they appear to be real. but I was disappointed that in many of the stories, if not all of them, it is all ways a threesome. Can you please develop some long series ((not short ones) about mature neighbors and swingers. Threesome stories are so boring. I would like to see women of different ages, perhaps leading character a being mature milf. Please continue this series and now writing carrie into swinger situations where she has sex with neighbors other than her husband. Otherwise your stories are getting too boring.

A Baumgartner Anniversary

I'm a fan of most of Selena's books but...I regret paying for this one. Liked it but.....could've been better, longer, sexier. I didn't feel like I've ever met her.

Years ago, we strung together a few magical nights, but I keep those memories in a locked drawer and I've thrown away the key. All that's left is friendship and work.

Epic!!

Grip is more than a love story, it's a life story. The beautiful, stolen moments amidst the ugliness, unfairness and judgments of life. Grip is Epic.

Grip and Bristol's story has been long awaited. We've watched their dance while falling in love with Rhyson and Kai. We've seen their instant attraction, fears, and frustrations throughout the Soul Series. Now it's their turn.

Flow introduces young Bristol and Marlon "Grip". A simple week changes their future.

Grip brings real life struggles. Love chooses you. You don't choose love. Love is hearts and souls finding their other half regardless of race, religion, sex, income, education. It's not easy and it doesn't work without trust and respect.

Their dance spans several years and her avoidance is painful to them both. He's hurting. She's hurting. She's hurting him. Bristol makes a decision that could destroy them both and everything changes. This can't go on.

This is a HEA story but along the way are some of life's biggest obstacles, seemingly ripped from the news. Grip is as real as it gets. One week, years of hurt, many lifetimes of injustice, and a love so deep. Grip will make you think. It will make you feel the gamut of emotions. And it will give you hope.

Kennedy Ryan has written an Epic story in Grip. It is a story like no other.

This was an audio re-read and these narrators brought an already amazing story to life. Fantastic narrators. Jakobi Diem had me melting!!

Loved the story and message!

This was a unique story that dealt a lot with current issues such as racial profiling and prejudice. The hero is such a sexy guy! The heroine just needs to learn to trust in his love, but has been damaged by a childhood where she was pretty invisible. There are moments of tension and suspense. While the sexy scenes are hot! The narration was well performed also.

My heart broke loose on the wind....

Grip audio

I read this book and completely stole my heart. Having this in audio is such a treat for us bookworm.

Absolutely amazing. Jakobi nailed Grip his strong persona, the swagger, that velvet naughty sensual voice. Just DAAAAAAMN Maxine as Bristol is a perfect match also. All her strong will, commanding presence and fierce love is portrayed to perfection. You can't get enough of this book. You truly get to experience all the feelings. When a book is as powerful as Grip having the audio is the best way to transport yourself in the story. With this audiobook you will get SENCE OVERLOAD.

Great Story

This story is full and the romance so sweet. Who doesnt love a soul mate connection? The performance by the Narrators is EXCEPTIONAL.

Things are about to get hot in here....

When firefighter Jax Malloy gets called out to battle a blaze at a hotel in the middle of the night, he doesn't expect to find the sister of his best friend and fellow firefighter in need of rescuing. He didn't even know she was back in Dallas.

Skye Chandler has always had a crush on Jax and is ready to be more than friends. All they have to do is survive an overprotective brother who just doesn't get it, and a psychotic ex-boyfriend who'd rather see her dead than with another man.

Members Reviews:

Dallas Fire etc

Another winner from my favorite author! Rekindled is a love story that started between Skye and Jax when they were in grade school. He was her brothers best friend and four years older so even though she had a crush on him for years their paths weren't destined to cross until years later.

Her parents died in a house fire that almost claimed her brother too when she was just finishing high school. In the shock and sorrow following that Dane, her brother figured the best thing for them both was to get her off and thru

college. That done she had settled into life in New York working in the financial markets of Wall Street. After 10 very successful years she realizes that this really wasn't making her happy and wasn't what she truly wanted to do. What she really wanted was to open her own bakery and catering business. Thus her return to Dallas where both Dane and Jax are firemen for the city and here begins the harrowing journey of her starting a new life, not realizing that part of her old life is following her in the form of an

ex-boyfriend. This ex is so twisted he believes if he can't

have her then no one will! This is a real page turner, between her and Jax finding their love for each other and the psycho ex trying to do them in you won't be able to put it down until you're finished! A Grrreat read! Merrilyn

First book that hooked me to Paige Tyler's books

My first book by Paige Tyler, and I am hooked, definitely!

This is kind of novella, a fast one at that, but I love it. The characters were quite developed for a novella, and I wanted more from this series. There is a kindle world of this series, but I found that I prefer ones that written by Ms. Tyler herself.

his best friend's sister

While at a fire, Jax is told there is a woman that needs saving. He rushes up to the 5th floor to find her on the floor. Once he gets her outside, he realizes it is Skye, his best friend's sister. After the fire, he goes to the hospital, and then invites her to stay with him. The firefighters later find out that the fire was arson. Dane, Skye's brother and Jax's best friend is not happy that she is staying with Jax or that there could be a relationship between them. After another fire, they start thinking that it is her ex starting the fires and looking for her. Will they find out who is starting the fires? Will Dane and Jax be able to keep her safe? Will Jax and Skye be together?

Great start

This is a great start to a new series. Ms. Tyler is such a versatile author and I enjoy all the genres she writes in. Skye and Jax have known each other since childhood. After he rescues her from a fire, defends her against her brother and helps her out with her plans they finally get to act on things only thought about when they were younger.

Members Reviews:

Normally a huge Lori Foster fan

I wish I could return this book. Normally I love Lori Fosters books. I dont know if its just listening to it read aloud that is making it seem worse but this one is nowhere near as good as her others. The two leads, if you remove all the sex, appear to hate each other. Shes manipulative throughout the entire book, and he spends half his time kissing her to literally shut her up. Aside from that, the way the narrator pronounces restaurant as rastaurant, and since like scents, its very hard to get through. Im very disappointed.

wonderful

loved it...she always paints such a beautiful picture...so vivid..so real... these characters were charming and down to earth...

loved this story!!!

Title: The Duplicity Duet

Subtitle: Publisher's Pack, Books 1 & 2

Author: Elisabeth Grace

Narrator: C. J. Mission, Abby Craden

Format: Unabridged

Length: 14 hrs and 37 mins

Language: English

Release date: 07-25-17

Publisher: Oh My Audiobooks

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 68 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

From USA Today best-selling author Elisabeth Grace comes her most suspenseful, sexy, and thrilling books yet!

Hook, Book One

Women loathed me without even knowing my name. Men coveted the very idea of me. Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore. I'd heard it all. Done it all. Over the years, I'd felt a lot of things about my occupation...but not regret - never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did, and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.

Until Marco Valenti. He'd changed me, and I'd naively fed into the fairy tale. But Marco wasn't my Prince Charming. He had secrets of his own. Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

Burn, Book Two

The stunning conclusion to the Duplicity Duet from USA Today best-selling author Elisabeth Grace.

"No." One word. Two letters. But those two letters changed everything. It was impossible to predict the impact I would have on the life of the only woman I'd ever truly loved. No way to know that I would result in her ruin. I'd suffer for eternity with the knowledge that it was me who brought devastation to her doorstep.

Though I deserved the anguish I felt, to see her suffer was unacceptable. I would fix this. Somehow I would prove to her that I wasn't the monster she thought I was. Even if it meant becoming a monster in order to make that happen.

Members Reviews:

LOVED IT !!! WORTH FIVE CREDIT!!!

Any additional comments?

I really appreciate that this is one complete series for one credit. I would have paid two. This is definitely a hot listen just as I like them but it is also a great story of love, happiness and a young man with the heart of a man. The narration grew on me because I didn't think it would be good at the beginning but it turn out to be excellent. When you think the story is over the author gives you two more eventful hours. Loved it

light in the darkness

Emily "AKA Brandi" a prostitute raising her special need's son Daniel meets the love of her life and her worst nightmare rolled into one.

With dreams far bigger than what she's doing, a mysterious dominant gentleman comes into her life.

The chemistry between these two is hot!!

What I didn't expect was the friendship that formed and the way Marco starts to care about Daniel.

That's when Brandi's gets turned upside down.

Things are going great until Marco's haunting past throws Brandi in the crossfire.

This story is filled with drama, hurt, danger, anger and of course love.

This romance is very unconventional.

Half way through I thought, there's no way this can have a HEA ending...

Thankfully I was wrong

Trusts will be broken, lies will be told, murder plots made, all while not everyone is who they appear to be.

The sex scenes vary as well.

What happens between Marco and Brandi

had sparks flying.

But some of the tricks were fairly disgusting.

But in the seedy world of the sex industry undesirable acts are a part of the job.

The narration was phenomenal considering the amount of emotional depth these characters go through.

This was not only worth the credit but, completely unpredictable.

GREAT STORY

I was totally surprised by how into this book I got.

Devon and Kylie

WOW! This was so much packed into a short but fast-paced whaop of a good time! Kylie is having a bad night. First her boss is murdered in front of her and then the killer grabs her and holds her at gunpoint. Luckily she remains somewhat calm and channels her brother in her mind and manages to escape and dials him as she is speeding away. Kylie is in in Montana and her brother is in North Carolina so that is not a lot of help but he immediately puts in a call to the one person he trusts to help her, Devon Randolph, who is served with in the Army and now he is a security specialist with MacKenzie Securities. Devon and Kylie are now on the run together and adrenaline brings out the best in both and close quarters brings out more.

How did I miss this one before? I definitely recommend this one if you are a fan of Kimberly Kincaid or Liliana Hart!

Great read

First read from Ms Kincaid and I loved it. Great addition to the McKenzie family. Great story, characters, hot hero. Poor Kylie runs for her life after witnessing her boss's murder by a thug who has connections in higher places and tracks her down . Devon goes to the rescue as soon as his body calls and ask for help. In the midst of staying alive and ahead of the game Kylie and Devon give in to their attraction and have the best sex of their live and in the process fall in love. With the bad guy out of the way they are free to explore their relationship, happy ending all around. Great read

Excellent start to a new series

Excellent start to a new series! This fast paced, action packed novella had my complete attention from the first page and I could not put it down. Kylie witnesses her boss's murder and barely escapes herself. She goes on the run with her brother's friend Devon. His only job is to keep her safe but neither can fight the attraction between them.
