Awesome read!!!
I love how the author told this story. I could picture everything happening as I was reading. Almost like my own personal movie, playing in my head. I instantly fell in love with Raven and Dragon, and the bond that they shared. I loved how the author kept the flow of the story going throughout the book. It didn't get hung up on one thing for several chapters. I hope she is planning a sequel! I definitely recommend this book!
Hold your hats; it's a wild ride
Vampires and witches... how can you go wrong? By underestimating the power of the author's writing and how she fleshes out the characters, even the secondary ones. And the epic battle scene??... Totally floored me!

Absolutely loved this book! J.J. Devine very successfully delivers a suspense filled love story that keeps you wanting more! The colliding worlds of vampires and witches keeps you intrigued throughout the entire book!
Great Story
J.J. Devine's book intrigued me and I was eager to read it. What I love about her writing is that she planted the seeds with her fertile writing, allowing my imagination to paint pictures to match her words. Her story centers around relationships. Raven's relationship with Dragon, the man she loves, Flame, the father she never knew and her newly discovered aunts. Even her relationship with her mother evolves and changes. Devine also explored the relationships between Dragon and Flame, who were sworn enemies, and their individual mentors, who are battling for dominion over the world. This book uniquely weaves the principles of Wicca into the story of vampires and the struggles that relationship entails. I love how over the course of the story Raven's character grew from that of timid girl to strong, determined woman.
enjoyed from start to finish
I just finished reading this wonderfully written book. This is what I would say is comparable to the twilight series with a little twist. Taking place in times long ago and with the added excitement of the witch world to top it off. I look forward to the next book in what I assume will be a series especially after the exciting ending.
Many books drag on scenarios through many chapters sometimes simply to fill a required word count I believe.
