The Friendly Spirit

I must admit I chose this book because of the awesome narrator Gwendolyn Druyor. She has always been my favorite!

This story is really compelling even though I don't believe in ghosts. It's just nice to wonder if they really could exist and the story makes me think that it could be possible.

I enjoy a good mystery and this one kept me intensely involved throughout the entire book. I couldn't wait to hear what was going to happen next!!

I was given this book in exchange for a review and I certainly am happy I listened to it.

One thing about reviews though is I hate to spoil the story.

Just listen for yourself and you will love it too ! The author Linda has a way of pulling in the readers or listeners! Thanks for this gift !

loved it!

i had to re listen to the first three chapters as i was focused on reviewing the book and then forgot about reviewing and did not realize it was the last chapter. the narrator nailed the characters . overall it was enjoyable.

Entertaining and Enjoyable

Any additional comments?

3.5 stars

A mixture of romance, mystery and suspense with a bit of paranormal. Quick, very entertaining, sometimes humorous and enjoyable story.

Great cast of characters, even the villain. Even though there is no mystery who the murderer is there is still a mystery element in the story. The romance is the beginning and building of a relationship. Not the typical HEA, we're soulmates and in instant love story. Clean with no sex.

Author Jessica Windsor is in a writing slump. She writes romance's but is suffering from a broken heart herself. In order to clear her mind and finish her book by her deadline she decides to rent a cabin in the mountains and get away to focus on her work. Ben Gearing the owner of the cabin has also had his life turned upside down and is struggling. Shortly after arriving she discovers that the cabin she has rented is already occupied by the ghost of another writer who went missing 2 years ago. In trying to help Andrew McCabe's spirit pass on she begins to investigate his murder. This investigation puts her in danger as well as brings Jessica and Ben closer.

This is the first time I have listened to a book narrated Gwendolyn Druyor. She did a good job with the narration. She has a pleasant voice. Easy to listen to. Her character voices were good, but the narration of lines not in a character voice were flat sometimes. There is not a lot of difference between male and female voices. It would have been a bit more enjoyable if at least Ben's voice had been a bit deeper instead of so soft.

Shifters

I really enjoyed this story I would have given it a 5 but I hate episode books especially when they cliffhanger.

I love Alex's voice, it's wonderful to listen to. I hate spoilers so sorry I won't tell you what I like about it.

I've always passed on buying something that ruins a book. I mean really what's the point if you already know what is going to happen.

Alpha's Forbidden Mate

Great story, read with passion by the author. Good story line, will read and listen to others by Alex.

Beautiful

There is love, hope, fear, sickness, and then the cure for there aliments.

Bonus Books

These were the before and after stories that went with "Watched Over by Dragons" and they are all very good and well written whole stories.

Diane Hills

Wow I absolutely love this book the stories are fantastic and delightful so delicious I enjoy reading this fabulous book all the stories so exciting breathtaking these are some of the best stories I like keep them coming getting it for my library

Cast of thousands

So, this starts with Keru, Tru and Hope, Dragon shifters and human. Then we have a tiger shifter and his human mate. I don't think I read the third story, then it was Devon and Faith which actually was the lead in to the Dragon shifters story, just not in the right order. Confused yet? There are a lot of references made to the other tiger shifter's mates but we don't get to see their stories. Which I would have liked to. Also I was under the impression that the title was what the three hundred some pages were about, not a short, short story. A bunch of short stories. And another thing, if you are going to have a cover that is allegedly of the Dragon shifters then one should have short silver hair and the other long white hair. Just saying. I didn't like the stories that didn't have to do with Dragons or their tiger shifter sons.

Great!

Yes I loved the book from the beginning I recommend to anyone! Great book! Couldn't put it down!

Where is the beginning???????

SPOILERS!!!!!!!

I was super excited about this book. I read some of the reviews and they all loved it. When I started it I read the first chapter and after I got done with it I went back to the beginning to make sure I started on the right page. I even checked to make sure I was on the first book in the series. I thought okay maybe it'll get better and have more of the back story. Nope! It just barely mentions how they meet. She's just automatically there with the guys and they're proposing. And the story goes on from there. You don't really know how or why. I'll be totally honest I was only able to make it about 80% through and couldn't get into. I just keep wondering how the story started.

To be honest I don't read this type of book but decided to give it a read as it was written by an author from my small hometown. I absolutely loved it and could not put it down. L. K. Kuhl made the characters come to life. Her imagination and ability to keep you on the edge of your seat was amazing. I am anxiously awaiting the next book. I was first drawn to this book because I know the author. After getting into the story, I was hooked. I had a very hard time getting anything done but read. My dishes and laundry are piled up, but I finished this book in less than 2 days. My heart sank when I read the words The End. I want more! Congratulations Lynette on your first book! Let your pen flow! I'm excited to be apart of this and am looking forward to many more books!

Everlastingly hooked!

While L.K. Kuhl masterfully entraps you in this fantasy, she writes the characters in such a way that they seem so real, you swear you have known them your whole life. The mystery of the story kept me engaged, and I didn't want to put this book down! Can't wait for the next one!!

Everything you could want in a paranormal romance

I've had the great pleasure of reading Jane Godman's Otherworld Renegade, a paranormal romance. Jane Godman has crafted a rich paranormal world, reminiscent of Kresley Cole or Gena Showalter, but with enough unique twists to make it a world unto itself. Fae, necromancers, zombies, and even the devil himselfâWhat more could you want in a paranormal romance? The hero is tough but caring, the heroine has guts and heart, and the love scenes pump out enough steam to keep readers warm on a cold winter's night.

I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

What if the world that we see everyday had something different to offer?

This is a good clean book series,

The authors story just flows through like she could be there reading you the story herself.

Kristi Burns did a marvelous job at narrating this book.

Her voice flows very well and take you to the world See No Sea.

The story is fun precise and one of the best mermaid type books that I have found so far.

I hope that the next two books will be released on audio as well with the same narrator.

I look forward to seeing more of See No Sea in the future.

So if you are looking for a good clean and fun series,

zombie apocalypse story with romance

Resistant is a post-apocalyptic zombie novel by Jennifer Reynolds. Sahara was a normal high school teacher in a small town. One day, she realized she had begun to prepare for a zombie apocalypse when she subconsciously starting sensing an uptick in zombie fascination. And one day the zombie apocalypse arrived at her hometown. After weeks of surviving, a group of armed people enter her barricaded home, discover that she is resistant to the zombie virus, and adopt her into their group. As Sahara morphs from a high school teacher into a zombie fighting warrior, she also finds love in their group. As they travel, trying to find out how the government is dealing with a problem, they must deal with the trials of living in their new reality full of zombies and crime. Meanwhile, Sahara must come to terms with and learn how to define her relationship with her potential newfound love.

This was an odd novel in that it tied together the zombie apocalypse story with romance. And the zombies didnt seem like they were really the main focal point of the story. But rather, zombies were just the overall driving motivation for what the group was doing. But the real story ended up being more about people, good and bad. The central driving event in the novel was actually a crime conducted by human beings rather than the zombies. I liked the premise, with a strong female protagonist learning how to become a leader. However, her interactions with other women and the men in her life seemed fictionalized and this made it hard to believe and easy to become exasperated with Sahara. I would have liked to learn more about what is happening on a global scale.

The narration by Margi Stephens was well done. She did a good job of capturing Saharas exasperating voice, especially. The production quality was good and I would recommend this story to anyone who likes romance novels set in unique environments.

First of all I have to say that I'm in love with Sahara. I found her to be an amazing point of view. She captivated with her personality from the beginning and I found myself not being able to stop. The story line flowed nicely and everything kept up with a fast pace.
