A fun tale of loyalty and friendship

Journey to Wizard's Keep is a fun tale that at times can be full of humor and at others full of peril. Three young girls form a tight friendship in their journey to save their respective homes from the dark reaches of a desperate wizard. In order to do so, they must rely on the generosity and bravery of one another, as well as others that they meet along their way. There are plenty of surprises which keep the plot moving and just the right mix of characters to keep the story both intriguing and fun.

Fast moving fantasy with strong girl characters

This story moves along very quickly. The upshot is there are three girls who find themselves on the run from their homes after a mysterious army attacks. As the story moves along, the girls discover an evil wizard is behind the attacks and is trying to take over their lands. The girls learn there may be a few older wizards who have cloistered themselves away and seek them out to aid in defeating the evil wizard. Along the way, they meet others who help them in their quest. This book is full of adventure, romance, magic and humor. There are themes of friendship, loyalty and courage. A good read.

Great Read- Non Stop Action

The engaging and charming trio of Kay, Nan and Irene grabbed my interest from start to finish as they deftly escaped peril and heroically saved their world from destruction. As the story progressed all of them became increasingly resourceful in unique talents and fascinating relationships. As an avid mystery reader, I look forward to nonstop action and unexpected plot twists. Journey to Wizardâs Keep delivered this, and more. The finely rendered landscapes transported me to alternative worlds, and introduced characters who intrigued, delighted and horrified me. The brave triumvirate of girls, maturing to women, offered humor and romance as they grew in wisdom and fought for the land and men that they loved. The authors kept several sub-plots going so the action never stopped. It was a great read and I look forward to the next book in the series.

Strong heroines!

This is a wonderful tale, which to summarize without giving out any spoilers, features three young, beautiful, intelligent, clever and bad-ass protagonists. Reading it, I felt this is a tale I want my 8 year-old daughter to read, because I want her to grow up to be as resilient and resourceful as these three young ladies.

The Shifter story gets better with each volume although, once again, this volume continues on from the last, so they do need to be listened to in order.

This time around, the story is darker, more violent and filled with a few more surprises as it begins to build to the moment our heroine must, quite literally, do or die with one of the men fighting over her. Who will she pick or will the choice be made for her?

Kudos to narrator Holly Elise who continues with fine voice characterisations and who ensures the erotic scenes don't become farcical or distasteful. It can't be easy reading a sex scene, particularly one of self-satisfaction, without sounding like cheap porn, yet she manages to keep it classy.

There's another cliffhanger at the end of this volume, making me keen to go straight on to Volume 4. This review copy audiobook was provided by the author/narrator/publisher free of charge via Audiobook Boom but is one I would be happy to buy.

Jumpy writing a headache

It's alright for the dark erotica, but she changes POV waaaaay too much! Character jumping is fine and I enjoy reading from different characters' perspective, but Marata changes between four different characters like a rabbit on crack. Multiple POVs within a single page, sometimes from one sentence to the next, I even caught one within a paragraph with no break to indicate she was now writing from another character's viewpoint. It's confusing, and in my opinion, sloppy and weak writing.

Also, the "twists" aren't so much as hidden plot lines just sudden changes in direction. "Oh, those last three pages? Just kidding! It was a dream, didn't really happen!" It's false, cheap drama that Marata didn't have to really work for.

But honestly, it was free so I'm not too surprised. If you're looking for just some hot raunchy erotica served to you on a weak and ridiculous plot line, this book is for you!

It is a little confusing in some areas but this is usually due to my reading I get excited I skip a little sometimes, but I love the fast paced action and the characters are wonderful.

Author repeats the same stories in 5 volumes!!!

You will get no recommendation from me. I was tricked into buying 5 volumes of short stories which had the exact same stories repeated over and over again.

LOVED ADBENTURE AND CLIF HANGERS

Love this series,

Love this series, hate the cliffhanger endings. This episode was not as good as the first 4 and it was confusing, and read like a rough draft. Hope the next episode and ending aren't a let down.

They're so hot, it's faintable, but I manage to hold it together. It's a smorgasbord of male. Yum. HOLY VAMPIN' VAMPIRES!! How does Tamara do it?! I thought part 3 was "hold your breath" nerve wracking. I thought part 4 was so FANGASMIC! Then I hit the end of part 5 and all I can think is "HOLY SHIFT! IT'S ABOUT TO GET FREAKIN' REAL!" and "OHMYVAMP!OHMYVAMP! OH! MY! VAMPIRE!!" Thankfully the rest of this serial (and series) is already released because even stopping long enough to write these notes is too long to wait to see what happens next!!!!! Seriously! The way that Tamara gives you just enough information so you know whatâs going on, but hinting at what may come, teasing of what will come, well, letâs just say that she does it so ALPHANTASTICALLY PERFECT! Tamara's FANGNOMENAL storytelling combined with the VAMPIRELICIOUS first person narration has me so deeply entrenched not only into the story, but feeling like I am actually each of the characters! Of course my FANGORITE character to be is Narah! Who wouldnât want to be her?

What a value here with a whole lot of good reading. The main story was excellent, flowing really well, with some real turns and twists, and suspense. I want to read the rest of this series.

There are 20+ bonus books here in different genres bu several different authors. Some I did not read because I do not normally enjoy tat genre. Of the books I did read which was probably 70% of them - I really enjoyed the 8-10 romance books, the 4 books in the darque series was very good, and I enjoyed the story of the visionary amber.

There is more than enough here for whatever genre you enjoy, and it is a value packed bundle

A book which creates a movie in your mind.

Surrender to the Nightmare: Erotica Paranormal by Morgana Patrick is a mad book. It's a roller coaster ride and a brain teaser. It gives you turn ons at one time and the very next it manages to give you goosebumps.

The story is an enticing one and keeps you held till then end and you just cannot manage to take a break, rather you won't need a break. Trust me I am adding Erotica to my preferred genres from now on. What a book, recommended and trust me, just read it once and you won't stop. The writing is so perfect that it actually gives you the freedom to make a movie in your mind.

Cute story. Wish it was a little longer

This is a cute,short love story. I really liked the way the author gave information about the Civil War and was able to tie it into today.I would have liked to hear more about the Civil War and what the male character faced. I will probably listen to it again around Valentine's Day.

I liked that I was on a plane flying for business and at the same time, I was able to relax and enjoy a fun, short story. The only thing is I wish it was a little longer.

I liked the narration. I thought it breathed life into the characters.

Why did they put this out so soon before Valentine's? I would have waited until it was closer to the holiday. but worth the listen.

From Amanda Fugate-Moss? I have no clue. Let me state that I couldn't even finish the story; I barely got through a third of it. I was so distracted with the narrator to even follow the story. I'm really curious to know if the author even listened to her story get trashed or not by the narrator. While the story may have been a good one, I'll never know because of the horrible narrating. I hate leaving bad reviews especially one so focused on the narrator but, what can I say?

Would you ever listen to anything by Halee Whitehall again?

NEVER! I had to look up to see if this narrator had narrated any other stories, my hope was that this was her first time. Sadly, that wasn't the case; she's narrated several stories. I don't even know where to start. The narrating was horrible, sorry, but that's my opinion. She was VERY stilted in telling the story and there were random pauses in a single sentence (ex: "It......is the second door on the left"). There were times where she spoke robotic, but I guess that can go along with the stilted speaking (ex: I....love....to....read....books). She would also emphasis random words, just like with the random pauses- where there shouldn't have been emphasis or a pause.I let my husband listen to the story for a bit to get his opinion and if you could have seen the look on his face. Priceless.

How could the performance have been better?

Find a different narrator.

This book was quite interesting and unpredictable. I enjoyed the teenage lingo the author seemed to embody. Teenage love, drama, and a little mystery, what else could you ask for?

Wonderful story of tragedy, sisterhood, and love. Rebecca has found the best friends a girl could have. Sometimes family comes in the form of friends and she has found the perfect combination. Each of the girls bring there own special touch to the group. As the tragedy of Pear Harbor Approaches everyone on the Island is enjoying their life in paradise and making plans for the upcoming Holidays, unaware of what is to come. Rebecca and her friends plan for the holidays and her wedding to David. And then Joel comes in to her life. Rebecca feels a special connection to Joel that she can not explain. Joel is there to help with Rebecca figure out her special gift. With the tragedy ahead how will it all work out.

Broken pearl

This one was a bit different from the others I've read but it was still a good read. I liked the characters and the story line,made for a clean and exciting read. I however thought the narrator took away from experience for me, I'm not sure exactly what it was but it just wasn't a good fit for me ,voice wise .

Loved it! I received a copy for an open and honest review. This is part of the Bear Shifter Billionaire series, Book #4.

It's about Donna, Bear Shifter sister to Cleo from Alpha's Mates. :) She's working in the magical 'Ice Hotel'. Her story starts with her hectic day trying to answer calls and managing the front desk when Dean from the Fire Service arrives to check their Fire Safety system for the Hotel.

Dean's human, big, sexy and built, as you'd expect from a sexy Fireman. :) He's patient with Donna as she tries to handle the phones and generally hectic day. Dean wanders off to find the supposed room with supposed equipment; instead he finds the room full of magic that powers the Hotel.

Despite Donna taking him to another room, he knows it's not real. Then all hell breaks with an actual fire that has to be put out with magic. With all the excitement, he goes into rescue mode, saving the rooms guests.

Donna soon has to take him aside as they clean up an after having seen her shift. He takes it all in his stride, not freaking out with the sudden revelation that there is more to his world than straight humans. Dean soon learns more about Donna as she does about him and his injury that changed his Fire Service role.

It's a great short story and the ever lovely and humorous Lola makes an appearance. I'm so hoping we get to see her get her HEA, as she always manages to help those along their paths to that happy ending. :) Thanks again for another fun steady paced story. Can't wait for the next one. :)
