Read Beast rushed right into Ghost and Monster, and absolutely cannot wait for the next one!!

Whenever I finish one of Linda's books I can't wait to pick up the next one. And thus it was when I read Beast of the Bayou. Linda manages to create fantasy romance that is totally believable. And the fact that I used to have a cabin on the lake that is the setting for the "subwoofer" series makes it even better. This is one of those series that you cannot put down until you get to the last page of the last book written and then wait impatiently for the next one, because it IS coming!

Linda Mooney rocks!

Linda writes the most imaginative stories. This one is no exception. Well written and exciting. You can't go wrong with Linda Mooney. If this becomes a series I will not hesitate to buy the next books.

Loved this book

Loved this book! The author does a wonderful job describing Shiloh's and Lang's world. The details of the secondary characters are amazing and the plot is fascinating. I felt I was in Dante Alilghieri's world! Great job!!!

A Great Indication

This book has its ups and downs. It is a book that exists on both ends of the spectrum. While there are times when the story or descriptors seem lacking, there are other times when a line of the story or a plot point or a character's depth will catch me off-guard. The incident in the swamp had me gnashing my teeth in agony, and that alone makes me accept the fact that, for all my misgivings, this book can reach out and grab hold of you without your expecting it. This book clearly shows Ms. Conway has the potential to be a great author, and I would be interested to see her other works, to watch her evolution as a writer.

A real page turner into Hell!

Iâve just finished reading Dark Labyrinth written by Conny Conway, book #1 in the Circle of Nine series!

I loved this book, I had fun following her two main characters Shiloh and the wing man Lann.

Shiloh falls from a seaside cliff, only to be caught mid fall by a man with wings, Lann.

The terror of falling has made Shiloh pass out, so Lann sneaks her to his lair, in the Underworld.

Will she become immortal? Just follow their journey into Hell.

Well written by Ms. Conway, this story is about realm, Underworld, Hell! If you love these

fantastic stories, then itâs perfect for you!

Alice in Wonderland/Dorothy in Oz meets the 9 Hells!!

Shiloh's life changes in the blink of a eye, when she falls off a cliff, only to be caught by Lann, a winged man. When she comes to shes in a cave, but not just a ordinary cave, a bed chamber..in Hell. A tragic beginning to a young Girl shapes her into the woman she becomes. A demon hunter

She will stop at nothing to destroy the one that killed her parents.

Problem is she is not alone. There is another. However he is not who is seems. He is so much more..

Ms. Ostrow wastes no time in bring you right to the heart of the story. I love that! Now let me tell you this is one hot steamy read. It is short but I can tell you that it is packed with hot sexy pulse raising action! Oh grab yourself a nice tall glass of ice tea with extra ice! You will need it!

A Different Experience in Audio

If you could sum up Demon in Steam in three words, what would they be?

Steamy Demon, Grrr.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Demon in Steam?

I loved the moment you first meet Greyston. His personality really came out in the narration. I liked him in the printed form, but the audio made the experience different in a great way. I could actually see the character better.

Which character as performed by Elliott Daniels was your favorite?

Greyston was the best. You can feel/see the character come alive in the narration. The others weren't bad either, but he was the best.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did giggle a few times in Greyston's dialogue.

I've read the print version, which is also good, but the audio version was a whole other experience. I could feel the tension between Felicia and Greyston. I could see the characters walking around doing their thing. I wasn't disappointed. I applaud both Lexi Ostrow for her story and Elliott Daniels for his narration.

Couldn't put it down

Mesmerising story line, characters with all their glory and faults, people you would like to know. Only criticism is with editing. Frequent misspellings, wrong usage of words and tense. Silly errors like "Audubon" instead of "autobahn", and saying that Noah parted the Red Sea instead of Moses. Would read anything by J.E. Taylor.

Not bad... Liked it more than I thought I would....

Ok 1st off I'm not really into m/m stories,as a woman who loves,loves,loves Men and uses romances to escape my own lack of romance in my life,to. Help fuel my dreams and fantasies I can't really do it when my leading men is craving a nice hard cock and not a dripping wet vagina..... The female lead doesn't have to look like me but it's has to be a she to find in my fantasies ... I wish it away when he's craving a body smaller or fitter than mine different hair,eye color or boobs smaller than mine etc. but in order to lose myself in the story he still needs to be craving body parts I at least have but a woman trapped in a mans body was just to interesting to resist and I honestly found myself enjoying it and hoping they'd get their HEA... and if she returned to the future she'd find HIM there.... Being the Lover of Men that I am I truly disliked the ending .... Even thou I'm not normally a m/m fan I'd rather m/m there it started to go.... Glad I read it, very interning twist on time travel just Jessie could stayed with "her" Martin in the past or found Him in the future.... They LOST when it the twist it did... Short but sweet

This is a well written time travel romance (with a twist) about two souls destined to be together. Not even time can separate them. The characters and setting are well imagined. I enjoyed the depiction of army life in a 19th century fort. Although this is a short story, it's worth the price.

A fast paced, exciting paranormal read...

This book, Flame & Stone (book 1) by Jamie DeBree Is a fast paced, exciting paranormal read. I would also classify it as a thriller, suspense and a romance story. I enjoyed listening to this audio book and in my opinion, I feel this story is an original story line. The setting starts out in 1801. As you read this book, you will run into things like druids and gargoyles (both of which are new to me).

The author, Jamie DeBree did an excellent job on this book. The plot is great. The story just amazed me. The narrator, Kevin Clay did a fantastic job with his multiple voices and accents too! I swear I even heard one voice that sounded like Sean Connery! This book as a whole is awesome! Great job you two!

Katie: I thought it was great she needed saved and could save Thomas at the same time. :)

1st I'd like to say I really enjoyed "Flame and Stone". I didn't know what to think at first when the book started with the heroine in dire trouble. When she was smart enough to get her self away from the crazy boyfriend I just thought "Thank God". I really thought the authors idea of starting the book off with a shock was great. He sucks you into the story line with it.

Thomas did start off as a sad savior. He was just a little hoo hum. He is cursed to the manor and only 1 woman can save him from his curse. So he is in disbelief it will ever happen so why hope. Poor hottie gargoyle. LOL I realy loved it when he eats what is probably the worst cooked food that someone could serve him. Not one complaint. Check one for the best guy on the planet.

Only the best friend was a crazy lady surprise. That the author puts her right by the end. (No story killer infor here! LOL)

I thought it sounded fairly thought out the "Plan to break the curse". Katie and Thomas were interested in each other. They both needed saving, him from the curse and her from a crazy killer ex. For an audio book that is less than 4 hours in length. I give big kudos's to an author that can write about 2 people needing saving from their troubles. Get revenge on the asshole. Brings a BFF that goes against Katie than becomes a heroine herself in the end. Romance and a little on the hot side of life.

Sweet story

STORY REVIEW......

This book was a sweet story of love, friendship, secrets, humor, loneliness, acceptance and blooming romance. The characters of Alik and Nell were so sweet and fun. I loved how they slowly got to know each other through hiking in the woods and over movies an popcorn. It was hilarious how Alik loved the Julia Roberts movies.

AUDIO REVIEW......

The narrator was pretty good. She had a nice, clear voice as well as good character voices. I enjoyed listening to her reading the book.

Unusual wear wolf

This was very unusual story more getting to know each other than sex and fighting and refreshing. Loved they way the narrator echoed when the main character would talk to herself.

This is a very tame shifter romance about platonic love and true friendship. There are no steamy sex scenes. The heroine discovers what is important in life and befriends and falls into love with a very lonely werewolf. Alik is a lone wolf as he is different and ostracized by his pack. He yearns for companionship and acceptance.

Nell doesn't know true love. Her experience with love has always been superficial lust. With Alik she will learn what love means.

I didn't feel fully sated with this novel and just had a lukewarm reaction to the book It is a sweet tender story about love and acceptance.

Trust me

Jared Kohl is a very handsome, sexy guy who just happens to be a very strong Alpha werewolf. One day, on his way to L.A. , he stops at a bar for a drink and burger. There he meets werecat, Josephine Young and they are physically attracted to each other but little does Jared know that he is in for a big surprise.

The next morning, Jared wakes up behind iron bars with silver bracelets on each wrist that will prevent Jared from shifting. Jared is being held prisoner by Evangeline who is a vampire. Josephine tells Jared that she was forced to bring him to Evangeline. Jared has no ill feelings toward Josephine but Josephine doesn't believe Jared.

The storyline is excellent and you wonder what is going to happen to Josephine and Jared. Will they escape Evangeline or remain her prisoners forever ?

Melissa Snark added some very hot, steamy passionate scenes that together with intrigue and mystery makes this book a great read. I love this book because of the characters and the great storyline . . . Melissa Snark wrote a awesome book !!

Great book about unusual shifters romance

A cat shifter, Josephine, meet Jared, a wolf shifter in a bar. She is beautiful and sexy he follows her home. However, she has led him into a trap. Jared discovered Josephine has been a prisoner and abused by a vampire for three years.

Jared pretends to be a submissive and request the cat because he is angry at the cat. Jared tried to change the abuse cycle but the cat still fears him.

This is a stand alone fast-paced story of drama. Characters are interesting and sexy. I highly recommend this book that about trust

Enjoyed it very much.

Read the story in the anthology Alphas gone Wild. It was full of surprises and I enjoyed how the author developed the story. The plot line was real interesting. Jared met Josephine, a werecat, at a bar and immediately he knew it was a trap but he needed to get laid and went with her. He was drugged and kept prisoner by a vampire that wanted he to feed. He knew that the cat had no other choice because the vampire was going to kill her if she doesnât obey.
