Jon weighs in on why Ohio State and Michigan being the only two clear cut, Big 10 power programs to carry the TV load on Fox, etc. However, it will be different soon enough when CBS and NBC add solo games from the Big 10 in those better slots.

Then, the guys talk briefly about the NFL, as it readies for week four and the end of the first quarter of the season. And, T.J. has more on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having to evacuate for practices from Tampa Bay to Miami due to Hurricane Ian. Will the Bucs-Chiefs Sunday night game remain in Tampa or perhaps move to a neutral site? We have the latest for Wednesday/mid-week.

After that, a great conversation with Jon Wilner, college football writer and insider of the Pac12 for the San Jose Mercury News, joins us to discuss how he broke the story nationally of USC and UCLA defecting to the Big 10 and their conference expansion. Jon also has thoughts on what happens next with what is still currently to be, the Pac 10. And, he has great insight on how/where he got the story done.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002 after failing in previous attempts. A 12 year veteran, all with the Bears, the colorful Hampton was part of a an even more colorful group of personalities during his time with the team.



He’s a now a co-host on “Pro Football Weekly” the TV show and partners with another ex Bear from the 1963 NFL championship team Ed O’Bradovich on a popular Bears post game show in WGN Radio.
