The 2020 Presidential election has come and gone. kind of.

With the polls closed, and votes tallied we have yet to hear who the president is going to be! There is so much to discuss from which states to watch, to what specific cities may end up deciding the election!

Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden are waiting to find out who will be employed by the American people next year, and who will have to go back to their mansions in shame. I am here to give you all the updates and information you need to understand what has happened so far and what may happen in the next few days, weeks and months.

Also there are important elections happening in the house, and the senate that all need to be discussed and can't be forgotten (although I barely talked about the house!).

There are 6 days until the United States citizens must have finished casting their votes for the presidential election, and I am so excited I could attempt and fail a backflip!

The final debate saw the two candidates fighting it out for the last few undecided voters, while only a few days later the Senate made a major move to place a new justice on the U.S. Supreme court.

I don't know how anyone manages to keep up with all of this and still remember to keep a smile on their faces, so I'm doing it for you and keeping you in the know as best I can.

In a week with so much political strife and craziness, we have to start this week discussing the suspension of a New Yorker contributor for enjoying his own company on a work related Zoom call after forgetting to turn off his camera.

Also we go through the debate on whether or not Trump did contract the Corona Virus. Although it's been discussed on the podcast before, this is the definitive answer to the question, and time to put the debate to rest!

In stark opposition to the dirft Presidential Debate between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the meeting between Vice Presidential candidates Mike Pence and Kamala Harris had a lot less buzz caused by arguing, yelling and insanity. Instead the buzz came from the wings of a very well placed, and perhaps dubious house fly!

Of course there is lots more to discuss with Trump now appearing to be COVID free, the second debate being cancelled and we can't forget that Matej has been ousted and banned from appearing on the Laugh To Learn Podcast!

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg passed away late last week, and this has left a gaping hole at the center of the U.S. Supreme Court. With less than 40 days until the election, we will see if Trump and the senate led by Mitch McConnell will force a judge through in the fastest time in modern history.

To make things more interesting, there is a big discussion to be had about whether or not they are acting ethically as Obama was denied a Supreme Court appointment, after he tried to nominate Merrick Garland. His nomination was denied because it was his last year as president, and the senate chose to not vote on the nomination.

Will we see a majority conservative supreme court moving forward?

As the second wave has begun washing over us, it's time to reflect on what we've learned so far and what we can do moving forward to slow this virus down. With the world watching, American citizens are making there voices heard and their actions seen across the media and the web. However, is this protest in vain? How might they create purpose and action from the atrocities that brought them out of their living rooms in the first place?

As well this week Toronto police embark on a new body cam initiative, but a "turn you camera off" clause has brought up much heated debate on the new program. Will the body cams be dead on arrival?

This week saw another unarmed black male shot, this time 7 times in the back, by a police officer using a direct and unnecessary abuse of force. Because of all the times this has happened, maybe we need a different approach which is what is proposed on this week's podcast.

Let's not allow Jacob Blake's attempted murder be another one on the list. let's make it the last one.
