This is the follow-up episode to #56. In this episode I dive a little deeper into the three steps you need to take to start your journey to increase laughter and joy in your life. I share more about what I'm doing to reset this year, and I reveal a couple of secrets along the way. I even sing a little for you--well for me, really. In any case, I was in a singing mood.

This episode includes a reminder of why celebrating is a good habit to have and an explanation of why I recommend setting a daily laughter goal. All I want to say about the libation of the month is that I made it up! I think it worked out well, and you'll love sipping while you listen to my stories (rants) about memorable experiences at neighborhood stores. I'm sure you can relate to some of it. I can't be the only one! Scroll down for the question of the month and go to laughterandlibations.com to submit your response. There's a new chat box feature. It 's easier than ever to connect with me now.
Laughing Matters is published at the end of each month. It's the end-of-the-month highlights and includes four segments: celebrations, libation of the month, rants, and questions and answers. Celebrations are about intentionally forming a habit of noticing and acknowledging the good in you, in your life, and in your sphere of influence. The libation of the month is based on whatever I fancy or feel inspired by at the time. I share step-by-step instructions and you can mix right along with me. Rants are about anything I find funny and want to share. Then, I wrap up by answering questions received from listeners throughout the month.

In this month's episode, I celebrate the start of Season 3! I actually forgot to share this in the previous episode. Oh well, now you know! The libation of the month is tart and sweet. Yummy! Rants feature technology challenges with Woody, the husband, as the star. Plus one more about my brother and his "Love" of beets. Yuck! Then, I wrap up by answering a question from a new listener, who wants to know where to start, since the podcast has over 50 episodes.

This episode celebrates the 2-year anniversary of the podcast! It is also the beginning of Season 3! I don't think I actually said that in the episode. Nevertheless, it is the beginning of Season 3! I share why I started the podcast and what it's all about. I also share two insights I've gained after two years of focusing on increasing laughter and joy.
If you've been with me on this journey all along, I thank you for your consistent support and I hope you've found the experience helpful. I truly hope you're laughing more and feeling more joy...everyday.
If you're new here, I thank you, too. Also, welcome!

In honor of my birthday, which is December 8th, this is a reminder to me and you that it's time to push forward and implement the ideas we've been carrying around for who knows how long! The gestation period is over! Make 2023 about implementing your ideas. That's what I'm going to do.

In this month's episode, I celebrate 35 years as a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority as well as the wonderful time I had on a trip to Negril, Jamaica with my line sisters (Swea, Sabrina, and Andrea). There's also the story about how Episode 50--a big milestone for the podcast--almost didn't get published, and all the details about my experience at the airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The libation of the month is perfect for the holiday season, especially if you love egg nog. Fun fact: I don't love egg nog! I am all about non-dairy nog. Both will work for this recipe. Try it and let me know what you think.

Here we are in the middle of the holiday season. As I mentioned in the episode 48, you can't hide. Even if you don't celebrate the holidays, you may still feel the effects from all of the external stimulation. In this episode, I help you focus on what's really going on with you. It's time to stop and tune in to your feelings, thoughts, and actions. It's time to figure out what you need to ensure the holiday season is what you want it to be or need it to be this year. I highly recommend listening to this episode with someone you think needs to focus on self-care right now. Listen together and help each other identify intentional actions to take to increase joy, especially during this time of the year.

In this month's episode, I share all the graphic details about my visit to the podiatrist to deal with the toe nail saga! It's a bit scary and funny at the same time. I guarantee you'll laugh as much as I do. Oh the adventure! The libation of the month is one I'd recommend for someone, who is trying to ease into the world of whiskey. It's light and easy to enjoy.
