Star Citizen has always had alien races in lore, but recently they’ve been having a heavier influence on the actual game. The Gatac Syulen is the first ship from a new manufacturer, and the first alien “starter” ship. Today I’m joined by YouTuber and ship reviewer Farrister to discuss the Syulen as well as all the other vehicles being released to Star Citizen at CitizenCon.

With the first preview of the Pyro channel complete, many players are wondering how much fo the gameplay seen is what the system actually aims to achieve. Over the years, and especially at the most previous CitizenCon, CIG has made clear what they want this new frontier system to be. VoiDude tends to er on the side of my…Pyro-like gameplay, so I thought I’d have him on to talk about how CIG’s vision or Pyro translates to him, and how much different Pyro and even future systems might be from what people expect.

Static server meshing is not a new technology in gaming, but it is a more rarely used loading method. Dynamic server meshing, which is the goal for Star Citizen, is new but is still a ways away. Today I’m joined by two professionals with experience around this technology to talk about their opinions of Star Citizen’s application of the technology, whether or not it really is a big deal, and what the next steps are for server meshing.

The “$10,000 ship” the Anvil F8C is now in players’ hands, and it’s powerful, some would say too much so. But that surprise isn’t the only ongoing change to the combat meta. Master modes is currently in testing, and many other ship changes aim to alter the way we fight in game. Today I’m joined by combat-focused creators and players Avenger__One and Xerostate to discuss the new heavy fighter and the changing dynamic of Star Citizen combat gameplay.

With so many ships of the backlog, CIG has a lot of work to get through in making sure all of their sold concepts are flyable. With many set to come in the next couple months, there are several with further out timelines that might not even start for a couple more months. Join me and Execute from @Inforunners to discuss the current lineup of ships in development for Star Citizen.

A wild week brings us a lot of interesting developments in Star Citizen. 3.21 has entered the open PTU as a harbinger for big backend changes, the jump point has shown up as an unmarked location as well, and major changes to data mining present complications for item services like Erkul, and all gameplay for players going forward. Join me and @TheSpaceCoder to discuss the major changes in Star Citizen currently happening.

Alpha 3.20 is available now, and in good fashion, has stumbled out of the gate. While there are some frustrating initial issues, underneath the hopefully temporary setbacks lies an actually pretty enjoyable patch. Today I’m joined by Youtuber @Farrister to discuss the new patch, the rest of the year ahead of us, and the further reveal of persistent hangars and how cargo hauling will work long-term. Hope you enjoy!

LevelCapGaming came into regular Star Citizen coverage HYPED (my interview from that time is linked below), but it’s been 18 months of thick Star Citizen development cycle fatigue. So how is he faring now after delays, mistakes, and instability, and what’s the outlook for the game's future? This is a good one, folks, There is a lot of discussion from LevelCap’s unique perspective. I hope you enjoy it!
