In 2000, Kim was given 3 years to live after having been diagnosed with a fatal autoimmune disease. Today, Kim has outlived that "use-by" date by 20 years and credits Laughter Yoga for having played a huge role in this miracle.
It was such an honor to meet and chat with Kim. Get ready to laugh, sing, and be inspired.

I had so much fun laughing and connecting with Maya, our special guest, on today's "Laughter Experiment" minisode. I’m so excited for you to tune in, laugh with us, and discover how laughter is the best exercise!
We're choosing to laugh on purpose for the well-being of our mind, body, and spirit. It’s not comedy, but spoiler alert, it does get silly! All you need is an open-mind and be gentle with yourself. There is an aerobic component to laughing so if you have any health-related questions, please consult your healthcare practitioner.
Meet our "Laughter Experiment" guest Maya:
Maya is the host of the Fearlessly Divine podcast. She aims to create a community of women that will uplift and support one another to fearlessly live their best lives, as well as inspire the next generation of women and girls to always follow their inner voice and go after their dreams. Guided by the values of balance, creativity, and growth, the podcast also explores the themes of self-love, self-compassion and transformation. Maya is a social justice consultant specializing in anti-bias education, and a mom of two girls. She enjoys being in nature, taking her girls to the park, and reading.
