Our annual gathering of leaders from chapters, regions, committees, task forces and the IEB took place in Long Beach, California. 

Kicking off with the Chapter Management Awards, we celebrated success from across the IABC World. 

That was followed by two intensive days of listening, learning and idea sharing to make IABC even stronger.

In mid-2018, supported and endorsed by the IABC Foundation, Wayne Aspland and Zora Artis, undertook a global survey of more than 200 senior communicators to look at the issue of strategic alignment from a communication perspective.

We're proud to announce that the submissions for podcast name were sifted, sorted and evaluated. Then they were printed on pieces of paper, folded and placed in a bowl. The official name for the podcast is....

The IABC International Podcast. 

From the submissions and feedback, most people asked for a simple name which is easy to distinguish from chapter and regional productions.
