三八节，是个结，虽身为女性，却总觉得跟自己尽量不要扯上关系。

小时候，记得男同学们向女生道三八节日快乐，都带着一种嘲笑的表情，想起来都觉得非常之可恶以及贱到该斩首的程度。没错，小时候男女之间就存在着互相憎恨的态度。后来，由于青春的诱惑，这种情绪转化成了另一种的对抗 身体对抗和精神对抗。

但是，女性的美，尤其突出在其四两拨千斤、以柔克刚、淡定泰然的技术技巧上。

这个，很难，需要一辈子去琢磨。所以努力去向妇女行列靠拢，等哪一天能心安理得地、扬眉吐气地过上这个神圣的节日～

恋人，一直在一起，总在过某些特定节日时缺少点什么。今天想了一圈，原来是距离。想曾几何时，那E-MAIL里优雅的情书，他的形象犹如一位英国绅士；曾几何时，手机里塞满了缠绵的诗句和美丽的誓言......如今，E-MAIL被盗，手机卖掉，还好机器的内容还算健康...... 我就想啊，如果有点距离，哪怕就一点儿，我就有时间给他买礼物，给他发个想他的信息了，如果有距离，才能有一点点的惊喜，就一点点～ 不过人就是这样，见不着想，见着了又需要距离。总之，没有完美，有了什么就得缺点什么。

International Women's Day on March 8th is a holiday for all of my fellow females. A celebration of their hard work and toil, and their bitter struggle. But why isn't there an International Men's Day? This highlights a problem -- that is, the basic inequality of men and women. Even the word 'history' is HIStory, not HERstory.This holiday is just to pacify our restless, aggrieved, yet kind hearts.

Women's Day is like a knot. Though I'm a woman myself, I've always tried not to drag that into things.

I remember when I was young, my male classmates would wish all the girls in the class happy Women's Day with mocking expressions on their faces -- whenever I think of it I feel how utterly hateful it was, so lousy they should have had their heads cut off. That's right - even when we were little, there was an attitude of mutual hatred between the boys and the girls. Later on, owing to the temptations of youth, this attitude changed to a different kind of conflict -- the conflict between body and spirit.

But the beauty of women is most apparent in their ability to use meager means to overcome greater power, to use the soft to conquer the hard, and in their skill at remaining level-headed and grounded.

This is difficult. It takes a lifetime of refinement and polishing. And so now I'm trying to cast my lot in with women, so that one day I'll be able to calmly, rationally, proudly celebrate this special holiday.

Lovers, together all the time, tend to feel on some of these holidays that there's something missing. I thought about it for a while today and realized that it's distance. I thought of those elegant love letters I got in my email not so long ago, as if he were an English gentleman; of those touching poems and beautiful promises that filled my mobile phone's text message inbox... Now my email has been hacked, and I sold off my phone. All that machine stuff wasn't healthy anyway...

I thought that if we'd had distance between us, even if it were just a little, I'd have had time to buy presents for him, or send him a message telling him I missed him. If there'd been distance between us, there'd have been room for pleasant surprises -- just a little room.

But that's how it is with people. You miss them when you can't see them; when you do see them, you need distance. All in all, there's nothing perfect in this world; everything there is has got something lacking.

让爷爷拿一张老照片来讲述他的生活。

带上一个笔记本和铅笔来做记录。

Maybe you want to get to know your teacher or a friend.

Most people are happy to share about their lives.

QUESTIONS TO ASK

Let’s say you want to learn about your grandpa.

You can ask him questions about different times in his life.

EARLY LIFE

1. What year were you born?

2. Where were you born?

3. Did you grow up in the city or country?

4. Did you have any pets?

5. What do you remember most from when you were my age?

BECOMING A GROWN-UP

1. What was your job?

2. How did you meet Grandma?

3. How many different places have you lived?

Ask your grandpa to bring an old picture to tell you about.

WHAT TO BRING

Get together with your grandpa for the interview if you can.

It’s a good way to do the interview.

Bring a notebook and a pencil to take notes.

Remember to bring your list of questions!

Also bring a camera and a way to record the interview.

You’ll want to listen to it later.

DURING THE INTERVIEW

Be on time or a little early for the interview.

Thank your grandpa for meeting with you.

Ask for details to make the interview more interesting.

Take lots of notes while your grandpa is talking.

Speak up if you don’t understand something.

Thank your grandpa again at the end of the interview.

AFTER THE INTERVIEW

Make more notes right after you get home.

Then you will remember more about the interview.
