Maria: Eh sì, devo fare un po’ di spesa. Sono appena tornata dalle vacanze e non ho niente in casa. Vorrei prendere della frutta fresca almeno.

Giulia: Prova quel banco laggiù, di solito ha dei buoni prodotti a buon prezzo.

Maria: Grazie. Ora vado a vedere. Ciao.

Venditore: Buongiorno! Desidera qualcosa?

Maria: Il suo banco è ben fornito, ha tanta frutta e tanta verdura. Vorrei delle fragole, dei lamponi, qualche pera e alcune mele.

Venditore: Ecco fatto. Qualcos’altro?

Maria: Vedo che ha poca frutta esotica come mango o papaya...

Venditore: Eh sì, costa molto importarla.Oggi mi è rimasto questo ananas. Oppure ho alcuni meloni, ma sono un prodotto nostrano.

Maria: Va bene. Li vorrei tutti e due, grazie.

Venditore: Le serve la verdura?

Maria: A dir la verità mangio poca verdura, ma ne compro un po’ per mia mamma. Vediamo...un chilo di patate e qualche zucchina.

Venditore: Ecco fatto. Sono 20 euro in tutto. Grazie e buona giornata!

Giulia: Hi, Maria. You're also here at the market?

Maria: Yes, I have to do some shopping. I have just come back from vacation, and I have nothing at home. I'd at least like to buy some fresh fruit.

Giulia: Try that stall over there—he usually has good products at good prices.

Maria: Thanks. I'll take a look. Bye.

Seller: Good morning! May I help you?

Maria: I see your stall is well-stocked—you have a lot of fruit and vegetables. I'd like some strawberries, some raspberries, a few pears, and some apples.

Seller: Here you go. Anything else?

Maria: I see you don't have much exotic fruit like mango or papaya...

Seller: Yes...it costs a lot to import them. Today I have one pineapple left. Or I have some melons, but they're a local product.

Maria: That's fine. I'd like them both.

Seller: Do you need any vegetables?

Maria: To be honest, I don't eat many vegetables, but I can buy some for my mom. Let's see...a kilo of potatoes and some zucchinis.

Seller: Here you are. It's twenty euros. Thank you, and have a good day!

Nadia: Hai ragione, forse mi lamento troppo…Qui a Palermo invece potremmo optare per il gelato!

Erica: Il gelato? Dici che troviamo qualche gelateria aperta a quest’ora?

Nadia: Secondo me sì, proviamo!
