    ----Formal English----
A "program" is like a set of instructions needed in order for a computer to process data.
This set of instructions must be 100% accurate.
When the computer does not move or does not proceed, there is always a mistake in the set of instructions, i.e. the "program.”
In order to operate the computer properly, it’s necessary to repeat operations related to the input you want to give the computer without giving up, and, for that, you must establish the input order and whether the computer is properly working, or, if it freezes, what the cause is, and so on.
"Programming education" exists to help children learn logical thinking, the ability to organize and process knowledge and information, and perseverance to work through these procedures.
The purpose of "programming education" is not to learn a programming language, but to foster "universal skills required that go beyond age, regardless of future occupation" through various projects.
In other words, they will learn from "programming" rather than learning "programming."
Although there may be some changes in the way this new education is labelled or managed in the future, it is certain that it will be included in the next curriculum guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Prior to this, various services are already being offered in PC classes and at major cram schools throughout the country.
Also at bookstores, many books for parents and teachers are lined up, and various services and applications are available on the Internet.
However, contrary to such a boom, concrete things such as which grade, what and how to learn, and how to evaluate have not yet been clarified. Besides, there are still many problems, such as how to secure the teachers and whether learning time can be secured.

In the current course of study, special "foreign language activities" classes are established once a week in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school.
It is about encountering foreign languages (mainly English) through songs and games.
Because it is not a "subject," we emphasize the "overall enjoyment of coming into contact with a foreign language" and do not give specific grades.
Learning activities, such as "listening" and "speaking," are central. However, this will change greatly in the next course of study.
First, the current "foreign language activities" will be from the 3rd and 4th grade in elementary schools, and from the 5th and 6th grade, "English" will become a "subject."
"Foreign language activities" will start at an earlier age, and "reading" and "writing" will now be taught seriously from the 5th and 6th grade.
It's worth noting that "English" will become a "subject" from the 5th and 6th grade of elementary school, and clear grades will be given.
Furthermore, content such as "third person" and "past tense" are currently learned in junior high school, but these will be added to the content to be learned in elementary school.
Many Japanese people are not good at English and have long been criticized for their English being useless after 6 years of learning.
Therefore, it is natural that the country aims to train worldwide talent, trying to put more effort into English education.
However, there are still many problems, such as securing human resources to teach "English" as a subject in elementary schools.
The burden on teachers who must basically teach all subjects by themselves will increase even more.
Moreover, many people firmly hold the opinion that the Japanese language should come first, rather than English.
The full introduction of the next course guidelines for elementary schools is in the fiscal year 2020, and it will draw attention to what extent such problems are resolved by then.

The Shogi Den'ou battle is an informal competition between shogi-game software sponsored by Japanese IT companies and professional shogi players.
The Den'ou games began in 2012, and professional shogi players have been defeated in many games.
Even in the 2016 game, the shogi software "Ponanza" and Yamasaki Takayuki Hie (8th stage) faced off and "Ponanza" won.
The year 2017 opened to pour the revenge for that, and "Ponanza" and Master Amahiko Sato got to the final round.
It was the first time that a game was held between shogi software and a title holder.
Master Sato is a professional shogi player, who, last May, for the first time, won the title against the three-time title recipient Habu Yoshiharu, who is a genius of the game.
However, on the other hand "Ponanza" is also a strong entity, which has never been defeated in past Den'ou battles.
The battle, which attracted not only the attention from shogi fans, but also of many others, such as the IT industry, was held in two matches.
Both matches, the first held at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and the second at Himeji Castle, developed into a fierce battle, but they both ended with two consecutive defeats for Mr. Sato.
Actually, Mr. Sato had borrowed "Ponanza" in advance and repeatedly conducted research.
However, he said that although he played over 150 matches, he could hardly win.
After the game, Mr. Sato commented, "It's beyond the level of current shogi players."
Though Chess, Go, and shogi have simple rules, they are games that require complicated and advanced thinking.
It can be said that the difficulty and fun is reading your opponent's "psychology."
Shogi is a game that deceives the "heart" because it has "soul."
Therefore, it was considered impossible for a machine, which does not have "heart."
