Sebastian Stan este un actor de la Hollywood, originar din România. S-a născut în anul 1983.

Este cunoscut, în mod special, pentru rolul lui James Buchanan „Bucky” Barnes/„Războinicul iernii” din seria Marvel.

S-a născut la Constanța, România, dar s-a mutat la Viena, Austria, împreună cu mama sa, pe când avea opt ani.

La vârsta de 12 ani, s-au mutat din nou, de această dată la New York, ca rezultat al căsătoriei mamei sale cu directorul școlii Rockland Country Day School.

Stan a început să manifeste aptitudini actoricești deosebite, încă de pe vremea când frecventa Rockland Country Day School, obținând roluri în câteva spectacole școlare.

A participat, de asemenea, într-o tabără de vară, unde a jucat numeroase roluri în spectacole.

Sebastian Stan is a Hollywood actor from Romania who was born in 1983.

He is particularly known for playing James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes/Winter Soldier" in multiple Marvel films.

He was born in Constanta, Romania but moved to Vienna, Austria with his mother when he was eight years old.

When he was twelve years old, they relocated again to New York following her marriage to the Rockland Country Day School's headmaster.

Stan was already manifesting a special aptitude for acting while attending Rockland Country Day School, picking up roles in a number of the school's stage productions.

He also attended a summer camp where he also played numerous roles in stage productions.

While attending the camp, he resolved to concentrate on acting and started to apply to matriculate in acting programs at a number of universities before being accepted and enrolling at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.

He commenced his career playing small supporting roles in TV shows and films before getting the lead role in the show Kings in 2009.

The following year, he had a role in the movie Black Swan and began filming The Apparition, which was released in 2012.

He also played the lead antagonist in Hot Tub Time Machine in 2010 and became a recurring character on the TV series Once Upon a Time as the Mad Hatter.

In 2011, he played the role of Bucky Barnes in Captain America-The First Avenger, and he reprised that role in Captain America-The Winter Soldier in 2014.

He will reprise the role again in 2016 for the movie Captain America-Civil War.

Criticii au lansat comentarii tăioase la adresa erotismului exagerat al videoclipului, care a fost regizat pentru a se potrivi cu melodia.

Cel de-al doilea cântec al său, „Mr. Saxobeat”, s-a bucurat imediat de succes și i-a adus faimă la nivel internațional, înregistrând vânzări de peste un milion de exemplare și câștigând poziții fruntașe în clasamentele muzicale din nouă țări.

La Premiile industriei muzicale românești, în 2011, Stan a fost nominalizată la secțiunea „Border breaker” și „Cea mai bună artistă”, în timp ce cântecul său „Mr. Saxobeat” a fost nominalizat la categoria „Cel mai bun cântec” și „Cel mai bun dance”.

Although she had a penchant for singing and writing songs from her early years, her music career started when two music producers heard her sing at a karaoke bar in 2009 and proffered her a music contract.

Subsequently, her debut song entitled "Lollipop" was released that same year, and she became popular in her native country of Romania.

Critics gave scathing reviews to the music video that was made to go with it because of its intemperate eroticism.

Her second song, "Mr. Saxobeat," was an instant hit and won her international fame as it sold more than one million copies in one year and climbed to the top of the music charts in nine countries.

At the Romanian Music Awards in 2011, Stan was nominated for the Borderbreaker Award and Best Female Singer, while her song "Mr. Saxobeat" was nominated for Best Song and Best Dance.

At the MTV Europe Music Awards the same year, she won the award for Best Romanian Act and received a nomination for Best European Act.

Stan's third single was entitled "Get Back," and it was internationally successful as well.

The following year, her next single entitled "1,000,000" featuring rapper Carlprit was released.

In 2013 and 2014, Stan's career went on hiatus, postponing the album release that was scheduled for 2013 to deal with an assault case and copyright infringement lawsuit.
