I was talking to a prospect about getting some coaching, and in the weeks we were talking, someone else approached her, offering to "10X" her business.
What did that even mean to her? The person making the offer may have assumed that "10X" to her meant exactly what "10X" meant to him.
I'd say that was a dangerous assumption.
After all, depending on what she understood about her own business and client base, and her market, she may have taken 10X to mean:
10 times the prices ("just add a zero at the end of every price")
10 times the number of clients
10 times the work (that sounds like fun!)
10 times the number of leads
10 times the revenue
10 times the tools she needs to purchase and master
10 times the amount of time she's putting into her business
10 times the conversion rate, so that prospects become clients much more easily
10 times the insomnia
10 times the profitAnd if it is profit, what exactly does that mean?
