It’s our brokenness that blinds our eyes from the truth and keeps us focused on our pain. We can’t see clearly because our pain changes our perspective, and our perspective directs our path. Over time, ignoring our emotions, feelings, and pain only obscures our vision and ability to see clearly. Trying to pray them away or ignoring them causes even more blindness to the truth.
