Edward Bailey and Matt Butler joined us to tell us all about how the Bailey family have partnered with Nerve Connection Foundation to launch the late Lex Bailey Legacy after battling with Motor Neurone Disease. The family are campaigning to fund the purchase of the Sunshine Stateās first transcranial magnetic stimulation. You can visit them on Saturday 7th June to help work towards a change. āļø
Also on this weekend, we have the 40 for Fortey event returning to the Toowoomba Showgrounds June 8th. The event is in memory of Senior Constable Brett Forte. Participants can choose between two main events and profits from the event are donated to Queensland Police Legacy. Louise MacDonald tells us more about it. š®āāļøš
