This Legacy Dance Tribute leans into NRG and disco roots while spotlighting Almighty Records’ 2013 Definitive Anthems compilation. The mix serves as a compact primer on the label’s enduring relationship with LGBTQ+ dance floors, repackaging diva moments and club classics for contemporary sets.

Highlights include Almighty treatments and covers that bridge eras — Miquel Brown’s Hi‑NRG “So Many Men, So Little Time,” Kylie Minogue’s “Your Disco Needs You,” Diana Ross’s “The Boss,” the Pet Shop Boys’ “New York City Boy,” Martha Wash’s “It’s Raining Men,” and Cher’s “Believe.” These selections show how the label balances faithful vocal moments with pumped‑up production, keeping familiar melodies usable in modern DJ programming.

Consider this a sampler from Almighty’s vaults: a celebration of remixes that have become staples at Pride events and club nights, and a teaser for a fuller tribute promised by the show.

This Legacy Dance Tribute (2013) surveys Peter Rauhofer’s Club 69-era peak and later reconstructions, mapping how his remixes reshaped pop and club music for peak-time floors. Volume 2 collects progressive, circuit and house reworks that illustrate his range—from bombastic anthem-making to more nuanced vocal treatments. Highlights include his Rauhofer Reconstruction of Goldfrapp’s “Ooh La La,” the Club 69 Future Anthem makeover of Cher’s “Believe,” and the taut Club 69 Future Mix of Suzanne Palmer’s “Muscles.” The set also nods to his subtler Rauhofer Vocal mix of Karen Ramirez’s “Looking For Love,” a driving reconstruction of Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” and the collaborative-energy take on “Break 4 Love” with The Pet Shop Boys. Together the selections trace why Rauhofer became a go-to remixer for pop and dance legends, showing how rhythmic detail, bold sonic layering, and an instinct for peak moments kept his work alive on dance floors worldwide.

This Legacy Dance Tribute from 2013 honors Peter Rauhofer with a two-volume celebration of his remixes, productions, and Club 69 persona. Party Favorz collects Rauhofer’s signature energy across progressive, circuit, and house classics to show why he became a touchstone for gay dance floors worldwide. The mix is both a memorial and a study of his fearless approach to reworking pop and diva material.

Highlights include Rauhofer’s takes on Madonna, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Donna Summer, and Annie Lennox, alongside Club 69 anthems and reconstructions that trace his range from glossy vocal edits to peak-time club dynamics. Track 10 features Rauhofer’s own “Real Bitch” and the set quotes his irreverent spirit with the line, “This is the REAL THING, BITCH!” Rather than simply mourn, this first volume celebrates the craft, attitude, and lasting influence of a remixer who helped define modern dance-floor diva culture.
