If you are offended by something the chances are some part of it is true. Instead of denying it, I would offer to own it and understand that it is something you are trying to improve. When we perceive ourselves to be perfect, we create so much anger, frustration, and problems. When we admit that we are imperfect, this allows us an opportunity to be better in that area.
