We go over topics of heart rate control, breathing control, and importance of posture when it comes to sales. • Does CrossFit Cause Injuries? with Dr. Erica Wong

Just Fyi we are changing our Podcast title very soon to Fitness Driven Podcast. We are still in the same place, we aren't going anywhere, the title is going to change, and you will probably see some new artwork!

Over the course of the past few episodes we realized that we are covering fitness beyond just weight-loss and we are covering topics on how this fitness impacts mom life, business life, relationships, finances, career, spirituality, mindset, and so much more. So by altering our title a bit will hopefully magnify how fitness drives your life!

We cover some sweet topics about injuries, prevention, and her passion and interest towards driven athletes. • Suffering a Little for a Life Time of Success with Tommy Hackenbruck

Absolutely incredible episode today with one of the OGs in CrossFit Tommy Hackenbruck. Tommy has been part of our community for a few months now and has been a great addition to our team here at CrossFit Mountain’s Edge. If you consider yourself driven, competitive, and just always want more this episode is for you.

Tommy had a fascinating career in fitness! Amazing college career in football, nearly a decade on top of the CrossFit Games Sport. 7 top 10 finishes individually, 2nd Fittest one year, and 2x CrossFit Games Team Champion with Ute. In addition to being on top of the sport Tommy owned multiple gyms, multiple companies, and currently runs a rehab clinic here in Las Vegas.

In this episode we go over attributes of what makes a great champion, his passion in being part of amazing teams, and how a little bit of suffering can go a long way in your life!

This guy has done so much and what makes him even more interesting is that he stays under the radar. Tommy is definitely one of the more humble athletes I have ever met. Aside from being dominant in his fitness career, his true passion lies in helping other people.

  • Fitness Literally Saved My Life with Gus Kalathakis

Today we got to talk to Gus, who has been a member with us for about a month but had such an amazing story of how fitness saved his life that I had to share it with you guys. If you get a chance to meet Gus you will find number one that his fit, but number two probably one the kindest and positively driven person I have met for quite a long time.

This topic today is one not a lot of people talk about but so many struggle with these same issues. We go deep in discussion about extreme depression, high anxiety, and even suicidal tendencies. How can one person overcome all of this and not only survive it but become an entirely different person in the process.

I hope you guys get a ton out of this as much as I did. One of my favorite talks I’ve had in this podcast and I really hope it brings value to you or maybe a good friend of yours.
