Veneers are a great way to improve the look of your smile. And if you have them, it's so important to take care of your veneers because it’s a huge investment. In New York City, veneers can cost anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000 per tooth. Most people get at least six veneers on the upper 6 front teeth; however, many people will enhance the whole mouth which will end up being about 20 veneers.  When you do the math, you quickly realize that this is an investment that you’ll want to protect at all costs! If you have dental veneers, it's important to make sure you're using the right toothpaste (and toothbrush) to protect them. 

In this podcast, we'll discuss some of the best toothpastes for cleaning your porcelain veneers and how they can help keep your smile looking its best for the long haul.  I'm super excited to have one of my dear friends and colleagues, Dr. Mina Kim (@DrMinaKim) join me in this podcast episode. I was inspired to do this episode when I saw her featured in an article in Bustle magazine and the article was about the best toothpaste for your porcelain veneers. I have porcelain veneers, so this topic was especially interesting for me. This is one of the FAQ’s that I get from patients after providing them with veneers. So, we're going to talk about three of the recommended toothpastes that were featured in the article as well as discuss a few more tools and techniques that are good for maintaining your dental veneers.
