She has published a number of peer-reviewed research papers and a book on topics such as suicide, depression, anxiety, self-compassion, gratitude, and forgiveness. Additionally, Jess creates mental health content on TikTok and Instagram (@jessicaleighphd), hosts a podcast, Psych Talk, and co-hosts another podcast, Welcome to Group Therapy, with the goal of making mental health more accessible and relatable, and destigmatizing mental health.
