This episode is a bit of a journey. Our discussion is not necessarily a "how-to" of asking for help, but more of a discussion of underlying factors of why it can be so difficult to ask for help. We talk about concerns about how to ask for help and how it will be received, allowing time and space for the person who is asking for help, rules we have for ourselves, cultural shifts in not taking care of ourselves, perfectionism and identifying safe people.
