Dr. Halladay shares that scientific evidence does not show a link between taking Tylenol during pregnancy and autism in children. While the earliest studies suggested a slight association, the latest studies, using larger sample sizes, show there is not an association between Tylenol usage and autism. Maternal fever however, Dr. Halladay explains, has an association with autism in children. She urges pregnant women with a fever to talk to a doctor.
