In an interview, President Trump said that the war could come to an end soon: “I think the war is pretty complete. Pretty much.” Dr. Mockaitis says that it’s “not surprising,” and that “Trump has consistently responded to the stock market.” Over the weekend, oil reached a four-year high. The markets ended last week with losses over consecutive days. Dr. Mockaitis shares his thoughts on what “victory” might mean to President Trump and whether President Trump will put pressure on Netanyahu to end Israeli strikes on Iran.
