In honor of the 250 years since the United States’ conception, Lisa will be chatting about some of the beautiful natural parks that help preserve the landscape and wildlife of this country. In this iteration, Lisa highlights Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota. She discusses the long history humans have on that land. From the earliest inhabitants, to the initial proposal for the area to become a National Park in 1891, all the way to it officially becoming one in 1971.
