Had to see how it ended....

What did you like best about Unfinished Business, Parts 1 & 2? What did you like least?

Overall I liked the story. It was filled with interesting characters and plots. However, the author builds most of the story around the same kind of misunderstanding that occurred in the first book of this series. But this time the misunderstanding lasts for years, causes death and chaos. It seems unlikely such a misunderstanding would take so long to resolve. I grew weary of waiting for all to be discovered and explained.

But the story was good enough that I dealt with the irritation to see how everything worked out.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Very well written and caught my attention

okay but not great

The idea of this book was a great however the execution was disappointing. The two main characters Reagan and Connor were to combative to the point of stupidity. In the end there was a lot of unnecessary heartache, trouble, and confusion just because there was a lack of communication again and again. I understand a little resistance makes the book interesting but this resistance was just too much.

The one thing I really liked was the the resolution, explanation and plot twists at the end of the book.

where is the next one?

fun.... on the scale of Outlander with fetching characters who are in and out of time.

I have read the complete series. I loved each and every book. I was very excited when I new the was an audible book. I just finished and cannot wait for the others to come out. Please Ranay release the whole series soon! I love your style. The narrator did an awesome job. Her pace, voice and each characters style were well performed and made it quite enjoyable.

Opposites attract

Would you consider the audio edition of Forbidden Love to be better than the print version?

What did you like best about this story?

That wolves and bears are now going to co-exist. How are they going to have children? What will the children be....half wolf and half bear?

What does Stacey Pearson bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I like the different voices the narrator uses for the characters. It makes you feel like you are really hearing their conversation.....their feelings and anxiousness, fear, etc.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

When their mother died from being shot by the hunter I could feel their sadness and when the mother gave her blessings....with her last dying breath...to Alex and her daughter, I cried.

What did I pay for?

Ok, I read the synopsis and I sort of understood where the story was going but, "WHAT DID I PAY FOR?" This story paranormal or not was ridiculous. Ok let's pretend that a bear and a wolf can have babies what are they going to be a bear-wolf. Oh and let me not forget that this bear/wolf couple fell in LOVE in one night. No let me get that right in a couple of hours. That's about right. They did the nasty not even thinking about the consequences because it was all about their LUST for each other, that's selfish. I notice that sometimes in these books the Hero/Heroine never think before jumping into the sack with each other. Again, I am aware that this is fiction but daag. Overall, I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone.

I would like to see more action. It had some action and some romance. It seem like more romance than action. I would like to see a balance of both. But i enjoyed enough that i will read more in this series.

A Good Start on Dragon Series!

If you could sum up Her Dragon to Slay in three words, what would they be?

Her Dragon to Slay was a decent story, and good start on a dragon shifter series. The three words I would use to describe this story are:

Sassy ~ female character

Sexy ~ male dragon shifters

Suspenseful ~ suspenseful plot with some twist

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect to the story was the characters. I especially loved the bond and banter between the male dragon shifters. You can easily determine each book will be about different dragon shifter, and we get to know some of these shifters.

The least interesting aspect was the dialogue between the hero and heroin. It just do not seem well developed; however, I suspect as the story progresses, each book will be improved.

Which character as performed by Hollie Jackson was your favorite?

All the male dragon shifter characters were great, but my favorites were Rayne, Aiden, Royce, and Lance. I hope future stories will be released in audio so we get to hear each of their stories.

Any additional comments?

I bought this audiobook on a whispersync deal, and felt I got good story at a great price; however, the story did not "wow" me so I ended up giving it an overall 3.5 stars.

I liked the characters and plot enough, if future stories are released in audiobook format, I would definitely consider getting them, especially if they are on sale.

Last wonderful action packed inclusive paranomal?

Tastefully erotic scenes with great conflict & fight situation with strong flawed women. differnet skin tones & ethnic background. ( I think russian/asian).. G.A. Aiken is a gifted writer..Sadly this seems to bethe last book in the audio series.. I'm crying inside.. Annwell & her female friends lives needs to told. disappointments

My issue lies in the performance. The stories is fun and good, I had read it before and wanted to enjoy the audio as well. I'd put it off do to the other reviews. They weren't all wrong.

This is the same narrator add used before on this series and yet she went around changing pronunciations of multiple names. Ones that seemed to be correct in the previous novels. This interrupted the flow for me.

also the overly long breaks between chapters was odd.

Not a bad story

Would you try another book from G. A. Aiken and/or Morgan Hallett?

G.A. Aiken, yes. Morgan`s performance wasn`t bad exactly, but her pronunciation of many of the names in this book were totally wrong which is pretty amazing since she`s done the rest of this series, with the names pronounced properly, that were released through Audible.

Do you think Feel the Burn needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I would like to see more books for this series, but I do hope the next one that holds my attention better. Not sure what was wrong with this one...but I found it easy to leave it to do something else which is odd for anything from G.A. Aiken aka Shelly Laurenston.

The pronunciation of names was a little off. The story as always was well written.

This was a very good story and addition to the series. I liked both Gaius and Kachka and enjoyed their story.

Kachka is a rider of the Steps, a territory outside of Annwyl's Kingdom (or should it be Queendom?). The society of the Steps is matriarchal and Kachka's mother was the leader of their clan. Kachka loves her sister (Elina, from book #7, [book:Light My Fire|17731347]) but their mother hated her and when she tried to kill Elina, Kachka left the Steps to be with her sister.

Gaius is the one-eyed rebel King who rules a territory bordering Annwyl's. Gaius's uncle had been the King but he was a cruel ruler and Gaius and his sister were forced to fight back or be killed. Gaius now rules with his twin sister and is working on securing their territory from relatives that were supportive of his uncle's rule.

This story starts about 6 months after book #7 and Kachka has been living in Annwyl's castle with her sister.

interesting time travel story

Certain parts of the story are unbelievable such as the fact two time traveling women are immediately found by an obgyn in the middle of central park right when they need one, but the rest of the story is worthwhile.

I loved this enough that I've listened to it twice! Usually once is enough for me, but this was an intriguing story that was hard to put down. I listen when I do mundane tasks and read when I crawl into bed. an interesting take on time travel. I recommend this book.

Please give the narrator elocution lessons - it drives me crazy when narrators do not pronounce words correctly. One or two I will let slip, but there are more than a few in the first hour.

Very fine shifter adventure story

This book was fun to read. There are female shifters who are daring and intelligent. There are very strong beautiful males , this is a story of how the main characters learn to love and save their clan.

The female lead had too much low self asteam.

What disappointed you about The Alpha's Arranged Mate?

I can understand a bit of self doubt but the whole purpose of fantasy fiction is to envision a character you can like and follow. This female was immature and weak. The areas that should have been attractive were disconnected. And as much as I love an alpha this one was not fully developed in my opinion just did not like them apart or as a couple.

Would you ever listen to anything by Jasmine White again?

Very doubtful. I felt that this story did not focus on the main characters enough and gave the lead female to poor an opinion of herself.

Would you be willing to try another one of Beth Roegs performances?

Goodness no! Her narration was what truly killed it for me. Very monotone voice for the female and the male lead came off as a youth with a break in his voice.

Fatastic Series!

Its always harder for me to continue reviews with books further in the series. This series started out as one I completely enjoyed and still do. The characters are fun, the storyline is suspenseful and the plot is growing deeper.

I hate to give away anything because you need to listen or read yourself but Grateful is given an ultimatum by a witch, her spiritual sister, that she has to give up the graveyard. She can't do that. Logan gets involved with the wrong person and puts Grateful on nonspeaking terms. To top everything off Rick leaves hr at the altar. I've said enough.

I love this series and can't wait to listen to the next book!

Love the antagonist.

The antagonist. She was a worthy foe for Grateful.

Wow what a roller coaster

This one will make no sense if you haven't read the first books, but this one really pulled my heartstrings. I found myself laughing and crying over this one. And, be warned, if you finish this book you HAVE to read the next. The ending isn't a cliffhanger but no one could stop here! Can't wait for the next

I finally got around to listening to book three! Since this was the last story in the series, I took my time because I did not want it to end! The whole series was good and I really enjoyed listening to it.

LOVED IT! LOVED THE BOOK, THE SERIES, THE NARRATION...ALL OF IT!!!

This is a great continuation to this series, and although I think it may be the last book in this story...I would like more! lol I love how the couples ended up and I really love that they had a vampire baby....this is a great PNR series, that will make you laugh and cry a little too...and definitely leave you wanting more! Great down to earth easy listening writing...and really good narration...I recommend!!!

What did you love best about Toxic?

This book was good and I was so happy that they got together and had a baby but it was a vampire but they never said if it would grow or what but still a good book just wanted more of it. Nice conclusion to a good series

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Venom series written by Kristen Middleton and narrated by Meghan Kelly. I have enjoyed each book in this series so far and this one was just as good as the others. I believe that this is the last book in this series, and I am hoping that the author will write another so we can find out what happens with the rest of the characters.

The narrator Meghan Kelly did a great job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didnt want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great paranormal romance with great characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Overall it was a good listen although maybe a little more background on the characters would've helped

Need More Backstory on Nova

I love the breed series and this one was no different. The only issue that I had was that I need more information on Nova. Or at least promise to finish her backstory in a future novel. Most breed females don't know who they are but she does. She also has a breed father. Where did she come from? These are the questions that I'm left with after finishing this book.

Excellent novella!

I enjoyed Mathias Roane's story. I wish it had been a novel. He's a truly passionate and caring breed male. Nova's a sweet and spicy breed mate. They make the perfect couple. The fact that they are going to care for Eddie reminds me of Mira. Great story!
