I prefer a female narrator.

Nice storyline. I am not sold on the narrator. The main character is being read from the standpoint of a man and I find that troubling especially in the last book with the rape scene. It feels weird to listen to.

Finally some closure

I have enjoyed this series tremendously. Diana Love does a great job picking up this tale on her own. Hate that it's so long between books. There is a lot answered in this book with many questions left. Looking forward to the next installment.

A great addition to the shifters unbound series.

This novella is about a collared alpha wolf shifter/tracker named Brodrick and his reformed hacker girlfriend Joanne. Brodrick has been in and out through out this series so far. He tried to mate claim Maria (Ellison's mate). Brodrick first met Joanne in the book (crap can't remember) something with bear in the title. Anyways her sister went missing and the only lead Joanne had was she was last seen with a shifter. Either way Joanne sent lots of trouble to the San Antonio shifter town in the form of tons of cops. Brodrick stood up for her and it meant a lot. They became close and this is their story.

Oh and if you fell in love with the cat uncollated shifter Shamus as I did then part of his is in this as well.

Sneak peak...if you are curious about Fairy then listen in you won't be disappointed. No matter how grumpy Brodrick seems and well truly is he loves Joanne that's for sure.

Last but not least I loved David Brenner and wish he would've read all the books. He makes the alphas sound like they should but more than that I think I just liked to listen to his commentary. Enjoy..I sure did

All of Jennifer Ashley's book are amazing and I love this saga, the story and plot is very good and always the story's are interesting

LOVE THIS PRN WORLD

Jacqueline Rhoades has created a funny, sexy, and action packed world that I love. You'll also love the misfit house of Guardian's.

Holly Adams performance is spot on with the different accents and inflections. Especially Canaan and Nico very sexy.

Absolutely worth a credit. This is a series I will listen to again and again.

Vampires, Witch's and Demons oh my

This book is paranormal, erotic romance novel. Comedy included

I laughed a bit in this book, but the bond with the characters, was not there for me.

Grace grew up in foster homes her whole life, her one and only friend takes her out to a club that is when her whole world is going to change. Soon she will see that nothing is what it appears to be, demons, witches vampires and more.

Canaan is a Lord and he has no time to be babysitting a human that seems to be getting under more than just his skin. With his status comes with responsibilities and he is expected to follow them, but the future of his people are going through changes and it all starts with her.

A great beginning to this series with wonderful characters full of laughter and a little heartbreak. At first I was a little loss but it didnt take long to find me. The author gives you a wonderful plot that pulls you in and takes you way as one group gives everything they have to fight demons and be who they are. Grace stays pretty much to herself and the one true friend she has. If she is in a crowd her head feels like it is going to explode she finds it is easier if she just stays in the shadows. That all changes one night when she is at a club a stranger takes her friend out back. Grace sees more than a stranger but a monster as she goes to help her friend she doesnt believe her eyes and what they are telling her. What happens next will make you want to cry, scream, laugh and make you want to jump in and help Grace and her friend all at the same time.

Holly Adams does a great job of narration it did take me a little time to get into her since she has done some of the Wolver audios I kind of kept her voice for them.

This was a really fun read. I like shifter romances. Most are darker than this though. I loved the HEA.

Keep this title

Would you consider the audio edition of Copper King to be better than the print version?

Good however sometimes when narrators try to give the voice of the opposite sex to a character different from themselves it lacks authenticity.

What did you like best about this story?

Enjoyed the growth of Lily and the softening of Jim. I enjoyed the men's friendship antics.

It was a light-hearted romance with billionaire womanizer finding a sweet young thing he is not only attracted to but drawn to protect. She becomes stronger and he suddenly wants more than one night. The end is a surprise for both of them and a steamy but fun romance.

Nicely done again Ms. Arend. So very good for a shorter story!

I met these characters previously in another novel if listened to. I didn't know about this one. It still fit the characters so well and I enjoyed them so! looking forward to the next!

Decent Story, Good narration

This was an interesting story. It was short so not full of filler moments but I would have liked it to be a bit longer as it would have developed the characters a little more. I liked Jim as a hero, he was strong, handsome, rich and sexy. I also liked Lillie's character. But again a bit underdeveloped. The chemistry was good between the two and yes they did like to have sex a lot of it. So this short story is not rated G by no means.

The story line and plot was good. I liked the little twist there at the end. And like I said if the story had been a little longer the characters and the story line could have been more developed, resulting in a much better story. There is a lot of dialogue throughout the story, and I like lots of dialogue. So that was a plus.

As for the narration, it was good I like Tatiana Sokolov a/k/a Tanya Eby. She does a good narration, the men sound like men.

5 Super Sexy Stars

What's not to love about a sexy man who can rescue you AND find you a haunch of venison to roast over the campfire? Oh, and who happens to turn into a dragon while you're sleeping after being so totally sated by fabulous sex?

Saul is a beta sweetie and I had to stop myself from making plans to go off rock climbing to let a dragon shifter find and rescue me!

This book is well written, the pace moves well, and the sex scenes are scorching hot. I love that Chloe gets to be the teacher for Saul, and that he is such a fast learner. Rawr.

The performance by Shoshanna Franck was impeccable. She treated each character with great depth to tell each of them apart, clearly, and her accents and inflections were spot on. I also very much enjoyed her renditions of the sex scenes. Very convincing. :-)

Well written

I loved this book. Even as far fetched a story as this is it's well written.

Omg loved this book. I loved the narrator.

Chloe heart is broken yet again by her ex. She decides to go for a hike and when a rain storm hits Chloe is left soaking wet with a broke ankle stuck in a cave. Sol is a dragon shifter who doesn't really care that much for human woman but when he spots Chloe in his cave he feels an instant attraction. He heals her ankle then as the night goes on they can't resist each other and he ends up claiming her but she doesn't understand what that means. When she gets ready to go he is heart broken and she doesn't understand why she misses him so much. Chloe goes on a journey to find her strange dragon man. Will they be able to get past this? Can they make it work. Absolutely wonderful I loved this book.

Safe, loved, and protected

I was given this audio for an honest review. WOW!!! There is so much that goes into making a great audio and I think Vivienne Savage has done just that. Not only did Vivienne do such an amazing job on writing a great story she picked out the perfect narrator for this book. Shashana Franck done such an amazing job. You could hear the right emotion being added in her voice when needed. It helped pull you into the book.

I loved the characters in this book. Chloe was one that was used to men being jerks. Men she dated seem to have a way treating her so poorly. So she had to be surprised when she met a man that was a gentleman and truly care what she thought and felt. One thing she was not expecting was for her to go to sleep with this hunk of a man and wake up to a dragon. Though a lot of us might tease that it would be our fantasy, I assure you if it truly happen to us we would freak out just like Chloe did or might even handle it worse. Chloe was frighten, almost felt betrayed in a way. Saul never mentioned he could shift into a dragon and now here she is waking up to a new reality.

Gees, Saul makes you want a dragon shifter of your own. He is this hot, sexy, rich, gentle, protective, and passionate man.

Over all enjoyable short story. There was not a huge amount of characterization due to the short length, however a back ground and history to keep them a part was created.

Very light read

Very light read with no cliffhangers or anything. No suspense just mostly romantic stuff with no good story behind it. It was quite boring but it's a fast read. Don't recommend it but if your in the mood for something lite here you go ...

Typical bear shifter story pale bbw female wm bear

Average shifter story searching for love. A rancher wm 30 y.o. bear shifter attracted to pale skinned dark hair curvy female that he meets at a male shifter to human female mixer. But, there is a female robbing shifter males who are too embrassed to report the mugging. is this worth a credit??? flip a coin. No diversity of different races or cultures involded with mixer or supporting characters surrounding the main characters.

Magical doesn't even begin to cover this story! Book three in the Empire Chronicles Soared over my expectations! The love between Casey and Toby is beautiful. The budding relationship between Jared and Vera is full of sarcasm and hilarious! Full of twists and moments that will stop your heart, this is a read that will have you on the edge of your seat. I read this in one sitting, rushing to the end, but praying it wouldn't end! I would give it a hundred stars if I could.

"Spend your life with me Casey. Be with me from now until forever. I don't care what you want to call it: wife, mate, soul mate. Anyway you put it, I just want you with me. Always with me."

Casey and Toby, Vera and Jared

This story ended leaving me to read the next book soon but it wasn't as bad as someone just being thrown off the Empire State Building. I'll call it a mild cliffhanger.

Casey and Tobey are just sickening in love. It was almost too much.

Basically, chaos abounds. Everyone is chasing after everyone else. So much happened in the book that I'm having a hard time putting it all together. The Boss inflicts some dark controlling mojo on Casey. It makes her tired are the time. Toby is always at her side except when she was kidnapped. Jared and Vera are at each other's throats for most of the book. They get stuck in a cave together. Levi and Allie are on a deserted island together. Owen isn't around much in this book. Every time Owen and Jared are together they bicker. They don't seem to like each other at all. Casey gets to spend time with her mom and meets her mate. Georgina plays a big roll in the book trying to put all the pieces together. Robert disappears. Tiffany, Allie and Hailey's college friend is The Boss and created this whole mess.

This book was in four POVs. That's why I can't wrap my head around the timeline of events too much. There was too much going on simultaneously. It's all happy in the end for the most part.

paranormal goodness!

I always start my reviews by saying I adore Alyssa Rose Ivy and she is one of my fav authors. I may be biased but she's really awesome! Stay is beautiful writing as always. It has 4 narrators but has really good flow and the story is seamless.

Stay is the third book in this series. This is an amazing addition to the series. In addition to all the characters we love from Crescent Chronicles, you'll get to learn a lot more about the Bears. A lot changes in Casey's world and we get to watch her really come into her own and take great pride in being a paranormal mix. Casey and Toby are adorable as ever. I really enjoyed learning a lot more about Vera, Casey's sister and getting to see vulnerability from Jared.

I will do a spoiler and say that while much of Casey's story wraps up, there is a cliffhanger with Jared and Vera.

Spin off from the Imp series.

A spin off from the Imp series, so I recommend listening to that series first. I actually like the Imp series better, only because there is more humor in those books. If you know anything about the Imp series then you know Debra Dunbar holds nothing back in the sometime distasteful and very sexual department. This wasn't a bad book but if succubus/incubus life styles bug you don't read this book. Although Amber tries to fight her demon half she is slowly starving herself and Irix will not tolerate that. So there is a battle of wills going on between the two. I did like this book but I didn't love it, I will probably read the next book. Narrator is okay, but it did take me a bit to get use to her.

First off I love the Imp series so I had to read this. The story was ok, overall liked it. The feelings\beliefs of the main character were repeated constantly and that got annoying. It got good at the end but it was a little slow to get there. Not as much humour as the imp series. Narrator was ok but would probably be better if there was more humour\personality to the characters. I'll listen to the next one but i hope the next one gets better.

In general, I love Hollie's reading style: first, the tone and cadence of her voice is pleasant; overall, there is something in her delivery that has a sort of light and punchy sound (akin to tongue-in-cheek), which contributes wit, charm, and humor to the narrative, but she also excels at conveying deeper, more serious emotions. I believe she really brought these characters to life.

That being said, some of the peripheral characters felt a little flat to me, but this, of course, was due to the writing, not the narration. There were times the story felt hectic, too, and not in a way that served the mood, or plot; it just seemed a little off-kilter. I can't decide if it's the protagonist who has ADD, or if it's just the author who has ADD.

Ok this is my fault that I bought this ebook. So I won't return it. I have been exploring other Genre's to read but this was an epic fail. I just can't seem to get into the Fae and Elf's. So that's my fault but the story is the authors fault. It really didn't seem to make much sense. I keep feeling like I had missed something. I think there needed to be more backstory and development of the characters. Maybe its just me so I won't go into details and let other readers decided for themselves!!

I would recommend this audiobook. I'm a sucker for a great romance and this was! I felt like I was taken back in time and was part of the story. And believe me, that doesn't happen too often.

No favorites though I could quite easily have fallen in love...

What does Saskia Maarleveld bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

She's a great narrator. I loved her flawless change in voice.

Im delighted to continue the story of the Lammergeier sisters. Saskia Maarleveld does such a great job telling the story, touching the very essence of each characters spirit. Im amazed with her range of voice portraying males, children and females. I never tire of listening to her.

So it was like coming home to some good friends. The last series, The Jewels of Kinfairlie left three of Alexanders sisters yet to be wed. He had promised them they would have the right to choose their own marriage partners. He had arranged marriages for his other two sisters. In retaliation for scheming, they arranged his marriage to Eleanor which turned out verra well indeed.

The girls lived quietly for three years and were starting to get concerned theyd turn into spinsters.
