    the lost garden series
kind of reminds me of the belial series except for history of the characters like the fallen and the guardians of the garden of eden its fast paced and to the point which I like in a action adventure book cant wait to keep reading it
    Good adventure.
One of a series. Reminiscent of the Indiana Jones character. Good adventure.
The evil bad guys are going to get there first
Evan Knight and a Amazon head out to sav the Garden of Eden. The evil bad guys are going to get there first, but they also have some trouble. You expect that everyone will stab each other in the back if they can. The characters are mystical and supernatural. A far cry from K.T.Tombs other characters. When they get to the garden, you have to buy book three to findout what happens.
Could this be true? There is caution, greed, and loyality.
This interesting book gives you much insight into the undiscovered world of the "Lost Garden". There is so much that has to be done in order to find the correct followers to plan for the great battle. To gain the full understanding you should read the first book in this series.
    Beware
Series is a rip off. They entice you with a low price but after the second very short "book" you realize you are buying chapters. By the time you get the whole story you have spent a lot more money than you thought you would.
It does seem to be a good story though....at least through the first two "books".

Based to the Laird ( Highland Bound book 2)
I love her books and have almost all of them. The love stories touch's my heart. And I love the time travel one's almost the love stories. Eliza never give up your writing. Thank you for the good books. Ads G.
    Awesome book
I love this book as much as the first one and I can't wait for the third book to come out. I couldn't put it down for very long before wanting to pick it back up to see what happened next. Emma is so brave. To go from a bad situation to a different time is mind blowing. Logan is one sexy smart warrior. The two of them belong with each other and I hope they will get that chance. Definitely read this series. It's great.
    Disgusting Language
I just ordered Book 2 of the series and book 4 because I had read book 3 and 1 a long time ago and could not remember what it was about. Well, I am sorry I ordered them. I could not get past 10 pages before I put it in my Cloud with disgust . I had just finished Rise of the Defender for the second time. What a wonderful Book by Kathryn Le Veque like all her Books and I was in shock over the crude and bad language in Eliza Knight's book. It does not belong in a Historical novel. I will never read another book by her.
    Didn't Disappoint
The sequel to the first book, Behind The Plaid, does not disappoint. It comes jam-packed with mystery, suspense, intrigue, passion, action, camaraderie, love and hope for the two lovers. If anything, like the book description suggests, Bared to the Laird brings to the forefront a new level of sensuality and self-discovery to the story which gives an added edge to the knowledge of possible traitors in their midst and war looming on the forefront. This is truly a entertaining look into the 16th century, highland romance where nothing is as it seems and Logan and Emma are surrounded on all sides by court-level intrigue.
    Terrific Second Installmentt
I've been in a slump when it comes to my time-traveling romance choices. I have found the stories just seem silly to me. I am so glad I found the exception. I feel the author does a great at job in sucking the reader emotionally into the story. It is filled with well thought out characters, including a great alpha male lead, and a heroine trying to find herself as well as fit in with a foreign land and time. Sex scenes are not what I consider "over the top", but very well done. I usually stay away from series that revolve around one couple--but this is one of the few series I have enjoyed throughout both books I have read so far. It is very suspenseful--I can't wait to read the next and final installment to see what happens!

A cross between Indiana Jones and The Crocodile Hunter, Dr. Trent has made a name for herself as a Media Archaeologist. Beautiful, intelligent and educated, she is one of the most famous faces in the world. Her television specials bring millions of viewers as she tackles subjects that most credible archaeologists won't touch. But beneath the flash and hype, she has a true gift. A "sixth sense", this gift has helped her locate mystical and wonderful things all over the world. Whether or not people believe in her gift, her results speak for themselves.

Dr. Burton has a highly publicized dig in the Valley of the Kings, and Kathlyn is met with animosity the moment she sets foot on his dig. Tall, dark, and ruggedly gorgeous, he has no desire to attract the attention she brings. But the excitement they come to share as they explore long-lost pharaoh's tomb destroys the animosity in favor of an emotional bond that cannot be broken. It takes all of Kathlyn and Marcus' strength to keep each other alive.

    "Oh Mighty Isis!!"
What did you love best about Valley of the Shadow?
I loved this story!! A contemporary love story interwoven with the intrigue of ancient Egyptian lore and history- it is a perfect combination!
Who was your favorite character and why?
My favorite character was Kathlyn because she is an intelligent, capable woman who is driven to succeed, but not to the point she will forgo love when she comes upon it. I also loved Marcus- he is a perfect H, gorgeous, courageous, brilliant- altogether hot! I also liked Kathlyn's best friend Juliana, she was really funny and bright.
What does Leslie Wadsworth bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Her rendition of the story was fantastic! Ms. Wadsworth is a gifted storyteller and actor, and her voice was the character of Kathlyn come to life. I enjoyed her interpretation of each of the characters' voices and personalities. Each person in the story was distinct and easy to identify while listening. Her voice is very clear and smooth, and her inflection and enunciation perfect. It was very easy to listen to Ms. Wadworth.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this in nearly one sitting as I couldn't put it down! The romance was hot, the relationship between Kathlyn and Marcus began with and had such a humorous element I found myself chuckling throughout. Then as I was drawn further into the plot, the characters and their machinations brought the action into the forefront. There was SOOO much action- it has you on the edge up until the end!
    Any additional comments?
I loved this present day story with the added twist of the ancient Egyptian story thread. Ms.

Christian fiction that tackles serious themes.
What made the experience of listening to The Days of Noah the most enjoyable?
I liked the writing style. The author made the scenes come alive. She portrayed accurate historical scenes with bustling cities and sacrificial temple practices. These characters are not barbaric cave people, but normal human people.
What did you like best about this story?
I like that it does not shy away from difficult themes like spousal abuse, the difficulty of building the Ark, the balance between God's provision and human action, and how God can be good and still kill innocent people.
What about Erin Novotnys performance did you like?
She has a lively but well modulated voice. She performs the characters very well. She is delightful to listen to.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
    Is the end near?
    Any additional comments?
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Sci-fi spin on a Bible classic
The characters were well developed and the author did an excellent job at tackling some tough issues still faced by society today. I'm a big fan of historical/biblical fiction and would not have been put off by the seemingly "science-fiction" ideas if the author would have developed them enough to be believable.
    Interesting idea, but I wasn't a fan.
I really wanted to like this book but I almost gave up because I was a little bored and didn't really like any of the characters. One thing that annoyed me was the narration. It was amateur -ish. If the narrators are bad they can really hurt the entire story.
I ended up wanting to see how the author would get to the end, already figuring out the end of the story. However, there are some improbable twists that I just wasn't buying.
It was an interesting idea but I wasn't a fan of this book.
I received this book at no charge in exchange for an honest review.
    A Good Listen!
I dont usually read many books from this genre, but I really enjoyed this one. The narration brought the story to life and held my interest throughout. The story was well thought out, complete and will keep you listening. I will be watching for this author in the future.

    ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely. Very well written and the narrator, Joel Richards did a marvellous performance of all the characters.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Parallel Attraction?
There were many wonderful moments. When she was abducted and Jared Bennett went all out to save her and when he almost died she was willing to die with him. That moment was so.... touching indeed. So much love!!
What about Joel Richardss performance did you like?
He narrated brilliantly. Kept me glued to my iPad until the end.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Their love for each other was so beautiful.
    Any additional comments?
I'll definitely be collecting this series.
Mild, romantic, intergalactic war tale; 2.75
Its a story about two people finding their life mates. The story was too mild for my taste. It worked ok in all the important ways, but it was simply ho-hum. I didnt find it quite boring just inadequately engaging. Still, I liked that the romance unfolded in a realistic, not-too-fast & not-too-slow way. And Jared, the H, a shapeshifting king of an alien planet, and Kelsey, the h, a geologist and earthling, were likeable characters. I liked that Kelsey was described as a tall and not slight woman, about 6, though she was still described has having delicate hands and feet. Jared was 64, so it worked. The sex was nowhere near explicit and sort of overly dramatized romantic. But the story worked overall. It was more about expressing love and connection, which is not a bad thing. I think there were about 2 sex scenes in the book. So sex was nowhere near the focus of the book, though the romance still was. I also liked the secondary characters and believe I would enjoy their stories in future book, though I wont be rushing to purchase any. Though the story was about aliens and alien warfare, the focus was not on alien technology. Still some, like time travel, is used. Theres no attempt to explain how it works nor is there a focus on it, but its there. Theres a bit more focus on the abilities of the aliens, and there are alien names, though all they take a back seat to the romance and war action that is generalized. Theres not a lot that makes these actions any different than it would be in a non-alien story. This is not necessarily a bad thing to me but might be for some expecting something else.

    Even Better than Book One!
Where does Ain't No Angel rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
    In the top 10
What other book might you compare Ain't No Angel to and why?
It stands alone, I can't think of any book I could compare it to.
What about Cody D. Robertss performance did you like?
    Everything! Great voice and characterization!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, the utter hopelessness of Delaney Goodman's situation from the onset of the book and beyond.
    Any additional comments?
He doesn't trust women, she don't trust men!
Although raised in different centuries they both have deep emotional scars that effects their relationships with the opposite sex, and each other.
Yet they have something in common; their love for horses.
Who is trying to hurt the horses?
    Ain't No Angel
I really enjoyed this story. Laney and Tyler are soul mates separated by time. They both needed each other to heal their broken hearts. The intrigue was very nicely done. I really didn't see how they would get their Happily Ever After.
    Highly Recommended!
Would you consider the audio edition of Ain't No Angel to be better than the print version?
This was an awesome book to read and an awesome audio book to listen to. Cody Roberts did an outstanding job of narrating this audio and I really enjoyed listening to his voice. I do hope to hear him again.
    Any additional comments?
I love this book of second chances and time travel. Delaney Goodman, a beautiful, lonely young woman raised in foster homes, with no family of her own, just wished to be able to work with horses, as a trained equine massage therapist. But with no way to pay for schooling and no place to stay, she was on her last hope. Tyler Monroe, never planned on marrying because of what happened between his mother and father when he was twelve.

Starting strong, ending as a pushover
Pushover is the only word that comes to mind when thinking about this story. When I started reading this book I was excited about the heroine. She displayed a good mix of bravery, strength and femininity without being to overbearing or whiny. She was strong when the situation warranted such actions but still remain feminine and likeable. That is until the middle of the story. Im not going to reveal the story but I am going to say she took a huge turn for the worse. She went from being a brave female facing a unknown world and future to a pathetic pushover that was easily conquered with sex. She allowed him to manipulate her, very easily I might add, into doing everything he wanted from her. Although he never truly called her his sex slave, he treated her as such and she allowed it. Taio is unbelievable and not in the OMG, he is a sex god meaning. He wants his cake and eat it too. He wants Eva for himself but refuses to even consider her as his possibly future mate. I just dont believe his transformation in the end.
Warning, this book contains some f/f scenes that are extremely detailed. If that is something that you dont like then dont listen to this book. The actually scenes didnt bother me; its the manner in which they were written that were annoying to me. Would I recommend this book, Im on the fence about it. Like I said, the story starts off great; its about mid way through that I wanted to stop listening, groan and wondering about the sanity of the heroine.
    Dangerously Impressed !!
    Any additional comments?
This was a good Steamy and Sexy Alien romance story. Earth has been conquered by aliens and the humans have either been killed or sold as slaves in other galaxies... This story was about Eva and she was one heck of a kick butt heroine. The other captives looked to her to lead them and she fought for them as well as herself. She is eventually rescued from slavery by accident.
I really liked this story however there was a couple of F/F scenes in it that are just not my thing. The first F/F scene just seemed really abrupt in the story line. I was a little better prepared for the second encounter and while I believe the author did a good job writing these scenes as well as the entire story the F/F scenes just are not my thing.
I felt the story was a little rushed at the ending. I would of liked it if Eva didn't forgive Taio so fast. Now i am wondering what could possibly be in store for humans. It also looks like Eva will possibly have an ongoing story to find her friend that was separated from her when King Taio took her to his home...
    Nice alien romance!
    Awesome story... Great alien romance...
The book starts 3 yrs earlier...as earth is being attacked by aliens. Jump forward to present as Eva (h) is up next on the auction block to be sold to other aliens.

    Publisher's Summary:
Brandee has been dumped in every way possible, but by text is the last straw. That's it - she's officially done with men. Unfortunately, she's just been told her "soul mate" is the drool-worthy hottie all her friends call One-Night Nick. Nick has been searching for true love for 100 years. After all, werewolves mate for life, and he does not want to mess this up. As soon as he kisses Brandee, he knows she's the one. But how will he convince a woman who knows nothing of paranormals that she's about to be bound to a werewolf forever?
    Critic Reviews:
"Hot sex scenes and a breezy tone with a nice, happily-ever-after ending makes Chase's story - with its interesting cast of humans, werewolves, shape-shifters, witches, wizards, and vampires - a fun listen." (Booklist)

    Horrible story line childish content
What would have made Flirting Under a Full Moon better?
There is nothing interesting about the characters. The female lead with her stupid sayings for cuss words makes you want to smack her with the book. The male lead, so what he's a
Warewolf who cares because the author doesn't care enough to make the plot interesting
What do you think your next listen will be?
Eve of Darkness by Sylvia Day
What didnt you like about Leah Mallachs performance?
Not sure that the problem is two fold or if the content was just so bad that there was nothing that she could do.
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It has opportunities for a good story but the author never makes anything interesting with the characters.
    Any additional comments?
Sorry I wasted my token on this book.
Cheeky and over the top drama
What was most disappointing about Ashlyn Chases story?
I'm not sure exactly what I didn't like about the story. Normally this is right up my alley. The love scenes were hot but the story just didn't pull me in. I could have put the book down at any point and not finished it.
I think it lost me when there was a frustrated, grumpy Mother Nature who had a council with the other gods that watched over the paranormals with human spy's. The fact that Mother Nature looks down her nose on everyone just seemed it was trying too hard to create drama. The fact that all this is because she won't have sex because she doesn't know what she will give birth too was just a little unbelievable.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
I didn't have an issue with narrator. I'm not honestly sure if it was the story or what about this one. It really looked like it should have been a good story. I'm not sure why it just didn't do it for me.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
    Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
    Any additional comments?
It did have a happy ending. That was the best part of the book. I wish I had liked the book but I don't think I'll pick up anymore in the series. Sorry.
    So cute!
It's a nice little paranormal romance. There is a bar called Boston Uncomon where vampires, werewolves, shifters...etc can hang out and mingle. They don't usually hang out so it's a nice place.
Brandy is a human who works there, and Nick is a werewolf. This is their story and it's funny and sweet and a tad hot.
