Not what I expectet, but great overall
What made the experience of listening to Eternal Vows the most enjoyable?
Yes, it was. I enjoyed every last bit of it.
    Any additional comments?
The story wasn't what was I expecting (a 100% romance), but I loved it nevertheless. The whole concept of the story, being transported to another dimension, marrying a king and trying to find lost sister, made it just exciting. Great adventure from the beginning to the end.
I would definitely recommend and will also buy next books in series.
GOOD, BUT NOT THE KIND YOU WANT LISTEN AGAIN
What did you like best about Eternal Vows? What did you like least?
Well, this book has a very simple plot. It's funny on certain moments, and ends up being a good distraction.
If youve listened to books by Chrissy Peebles before, how does this one compare?
This was my first time, anda I like it. However, her books are the kind I read only one time, and is enough for me.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The narrators' job was great. I have no request about it.
Could you see Eternal Vows being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
Maybe a series, but with only 2 seasons...
    Any additional comments?
Although I had a good time with this book, I do not intend to know the rest of the series. This is the type and lvro that I read only once and gets forgotten on the shelf ...Sugerir uma ediçoGoogle Tradutor para empresas:Google Toolkit de traduço para appsTradutor de sitesGlobal Market FinderSobre o Google TradutorComunidadeCelularSobre o GooglePrivacidade e TermosAjudaEnviar feedbackClique para editar e ver traduçes alternativas
Made to be turned into a movie!
I don't really know what to say. I can't believe I haven't listened to this story until now. I really enjoyed the three audiobooks of The Zombie Chronicles that Chrissy Peebles wrote but this story surpassed those. This was like Colleen Houck's Tiger Curse series but more realistic in ways. I think this story is movie material. I would vote to get it made into a movie. I would help the campaign. This is my favorite audio of 2015 and it's a new year, as of right now it's my favorite story of 2016 in this genre. This story is magical, adventurous, and it blew my mind. I love this story and I'm ready to download the second audio, Eternal Destiny right now. This story is so much more than a 5 star rating, and it's definitely worth being turned into a movie. Loved it and this one is so worth the purchase.
Narrator, Marian Hussey did a wonderful job with her performance of Eternal Vows.

How I miss the old Jane
If youve been following my reviews of the Jane True series youll see that I loved it in the beginning then by the middle I was a little disappointed in the direction the series took. I almost didnt even listen to Tempest Reborn. But that part of me that needed to see the series to the end (thank goodness this was the last book or I would have stopped) had to listen.
By the time I reached Tempest Reborn, Janes world had changed so much and not for the better IMO. It went from fun, light, flirty and sexy to dark, violent and confusing. The dark and violent Im cool with but when I have a hard time keeping up with who the new characters are and not really caring about the main characters and what they are trying to accomplish then its a sad day.
Jane True is an Urban Fantasy series that means that the romance aspect is usually drawled out over the series. But when its not the safety of the world thats cockblocking the characters but the characters themselves, Im out. That trope was like beating a dead horse.
I didnt like the creature character or the whole white and red dragon thing. I really felt like I was reading a totally different series and that I was dumped into the middle of it. The Jane True series felt like a series with multi personality disorder, it didnt know if it was fun and quirky or dark and weird.
The ending was wrapped up well enough with Jane getting her HEA but by that time I just didnt care about her romantic life.
Its a shame that once the series got a great narrator like Kristine Hvam that I lost interest in it. Honesty if it was not for Hvams narration I would have not gone back to the series.
Please dont take my dislike for Tempest Reborn as a dislike for the whole series or the writing. I really enjoyed the earlier books the series. I just feel like there was too much change, too fast and that maybe with a few more books to let it slowing grow would have been better. {Shrugs} Thats just my opinion. Im totally on board with reading anything else that Nicole Peeler puts out and I look forward to seeing what she brings to the fiction world next.
    Seiries Ender
Would you try another book from Nicole Peeler and/or Khristine Hvam?
Never, for either of them. Peeler is dead to me as an author. Hvam I will avoid without particular rancor, just out of preference.
Has Tempest Reborn turned you off from other books in this genre?
I am not turned off from other books of this genre, on the contrary, I seek out books of this genre.

    Great new Series!
This book had it all....There are Wizards, Magic, Goblins, Dark Fae, Light Fae, a Giant Goose, and more! Alyssa Day has me hooked on this new series. Great characters that are very witty and sarcastic with great world building. This book was fast-paced and on the edge of your seat entertaining. I couldn't wait to uncover the secrets that Luke has and Rio is a mystery.
I have listened to a lot of books narrated by Xe Sands and I thought she did a wonderful job bringing this story to life a always. Can't wait for Book 2!
Great Story to read, but hard to listen to.
What did you like best about The Cursed? What did you like least?
It is a light easy story to read. I enjoy, how the author brought lines from TV into the stor and the interaction between the characters. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the audible version. I had a hard time understanding the narrator. The narrator spoke too quickly. I also could not understand her, when she was speaking the characters part.
How could the performance have been better?

    Wild with an Alaskan Werewolf
I'm really enjoying this series so far.Very fun and sexy books. The narrator "Abby Craden" does an awesome job at giving each character individuality, their own personality.I enjoyed the series so much so far,I'm now reading, A Werewolf in LasVegas.
    A very entertaining series.
I do love this series. It was fun and entertaining. It does contain it's fair amount of steamy scenes though, so be forewarned if that's not your cup of tea.
    It was ok!
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I like the series but I personally think its getting to be boring. This one was a better book than last story by author.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Maybe go in different story line. The stories are starting to sound the same.
Did Abby Craden do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I had no problems with narrator.
Do you think Werewolf in Alaska needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
    No
    Any additional comments?
Writer needs new story line this one is getting old
    Snore
What do you think your next listen will be?
Anything but something else from this author.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Hmmm, what feelings did this book spark in me, lets see anger that I wasted my money. Disappointment that I pushed myself to make it through the first part of this book.
    Any additional comments?
This book is so drawn out and long stretches of crap at times I zoned out during the character Rachel's stupid internal and external monologues. I so want my money back!

    Publisher's Summary:
When secrets and betrayals abound, where will her devotion lie?
With powerful abilities gained from the Ang'dora and Tristan back by her side, Alexis thinks she's ready for the next challenge - protecting her son from what appears to be the inevitable. But she has so much to learn about her powers, her new world, and the people in it. Nothing is what it seems to be on the surface, including the Amadis.
Power-hungry politicians comprise the council and make impossible demands. A traitor lurks among them all, inciting trouble that could destroy the Amadis and, ultimately, humanity. The Daemoni wreak havoc in the human world, with the ultimatum that they'll continue attacking innocents until Alexis and Tristan are expelled from the Amadis' protection. The couple's own society begins to shut them out. But that's not all.
Someone's keeping a secret. A big one. Faith and hope in Alexis and Tristan will be restored if she can uncover the truth in time.
But the search for answers leads only to the discovery of more betrayals by those closest to Alexis. Her devotion is put to the test - devotion to her husband, to her family, to her people and to her beliefs - leaving her to question whom she's fighting for and why she should even bother. But if she won't fight... who will?
    Members Reviews:
Great book! Can't wait to read the next one.
If you could sum up Devotion in three words, what would they be?
Storyline kept you guessing who the traitor was right up to the end.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Devotion?
    The trial at the end
Which character as performed by Erin Mallon was your favorite?
    Alexis
    Awesome!
Devotion continues us on the path of Alexis and Tristan. Alexis has started to practice her newly developed skills since the Ang'Dora and trying to come to terms with the stuff Tristan was put through during his disappearance. There is a traitor among them and it has been challenging to figure out just who is behind the treachery. The council is supposed to support the women but has left them reliant on each other.
This book is full of twists and turns leaving you at the end with a cliff-hanger that you are not expecting.
For the most part, I really enjoy this narrator. The one issue I have is that Alexis is now and adult and still at times sounds like a petulant brat.

    Oh my Demonboy
Erion is a half vampire and half demon. If you didnt know this already, then you shouldnt be reading this book. His son has been taken by Cruen and Erion will do anything to bring him home safely. Hellen is a demon, who has given her life and body to Cruen to save her sisters. Erion decides to kidnap Hellen in exchange for his son, which begins the story. I enjoyed the different variations that this book offered for the series. It opened the realm for new characters and something different than the previous four offered. However, Im a little torn by my feeling for this book. I loved the blooming relationship between Erion and Hellen and was extremely happy that the unloved and unwanted finally found loved. But I guess that can be said for all the Roman brothers. (Again, if you dont know what Im talking about, read the series from the beginning) But Im a little puzzled as to the direction the series took with this book. I still greatly enjoyed the book and probably will reread it again.
As always, I loved Tavia Gilbert. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators. She always does a phenomenal job with the voices. I think she could read the encyclopedia and make it sound downright interesting.
    I'M AN ETERNAL FAN
Wow who can resist those abs - anyway enough about the cover back to the book - any Mark of the Vampire fan will love this new addition to the story as LW tantalizes and teases us as she brings and adds more mental images of new and exciting characters, events and places for us to swoon at with "oooos, ahhhhs and wows".
This is about a tragic doomed love story between Erion and Hellen who just happens to be the Devil's daughter as they are trapped in an evil bargain that neither wants. It's exciting, torturous, sad, thrilling, gripping and has some great characters. It's sexy but the couple cannot make love because she has to remain a virgin until the evil bargain is fulfilled but shucks Erion just one unhappy demon on the night and it's safe to say all Hell breaks out .... literally,
Not really a stand alone listen as it refers to a lot of past events, people etc and it's a bit confusing the names they call things.
Worth a credit? That's another happily spent credit - so YES but you must be a paranormal romance lover.
    Tavia Gilbert
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes, probably, maybe. I love the characters in all the previous books. The characters in this book were good.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
As in all her books the too long raunchy sex scenes take away from the book.

    Poorly written with terrible narration
What would have made Beauty and the Beast better?
A better plot, better writing and a narrator that can read well.
What didnt you like about Amber Wests performance?
Amber West's narration was not smooth.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Overall, I was disappointed in this variation of Beauty and the Beast. The plot nor the characters were interesting. The use of the rose was meaningless in this story to me.
