Exciting

This is a new author for me and one which I will follow. The story was interesting from the first chapter to the last. The characters were well developed and intriguing. The narration is the primary reason I was interested in the book and it did not disappoint. I will listen to this many times. Love the voice and the story told!

Loved this story; can't wait to follow the series!

Im in such a depression now that Ive finished this book. This is the first Viking themed PN/Urban romance Ive read, and it certainly wont be my last Im definitely stalking this author and series! Leif and Naya are perfect as the lead male and female hero. They both know what they want and are stubborn about attaining it. Their chemistry was hot, but coming together as a couple was not easy due to misunderstandings, each persons beliefs, history, etc. I was on pins and needles as their relationship was drawn out, but in an agonizingly good way (I listened to it on Audible, and I was literally screaming in the car at characters and situations). The author was able to weave so much action, intrigue, and suspense that I was never bored. Leif and Naya were also supported by a very interesting supporting set of characters by way of Leifs warriors. Each played very different roles with their own distinct personalities; it appears future books of the series will feature these warriors, and I hope we go through all of them because that would mean a long term series of awesomeness! I cannot say enough great things about this book, and it (as well as the author) deserves all the attention, praise, and awards it receives.

Exceptional narrator, decent story...

Yes. Because it travelled at a reasonable pace for an action/romance, had an exceptional narrator in making you feel the characters, see the details, experience the story from their point of view, and was just a very fun read.

Would you be willing to try another book from Asa Maria Bradley? Why or why not?

Yes, if the same or an equally talented narrator that could present the cultural aspects did the reading of the book. The interplay between the different characters was part of what made reading this so special to me.

It is a sweet, enjoyable read, a nice HEA with a real touch of culture, making a Science Fiction into a really interesting peak into a bygone culture.

Andi and her bestie go on a cruise meant for werewolf enthusiasts, she meets Trace and his friend Adam...they all hang out and have some fun...One night there is a fire and Andi's friend has to leave the ship for medical attention...Andi goes back to Traces cabin and he confesses he is a werewolf... a knock on the door and guess who? Its Adam...lets just say a good time was had by all!!! Great quick listen and good narration!!!

Who doesnt love a good short werewolf story? How about 2 werewolves?

Andi, she wants to go on a cruise not just any cruise. She is in the market for some like minded people and she thinks she has found it with this cruise.

Where possibilities of seeing a werewolf are almost guaranteed

She gets a little close with a crew member Trace, who happens to find Andi very attractive but she isnt the only one so does his friend Adam.

Andi decides to let it all go and just be, heck she gets exactly what she wanted and then some!

Very much enjoyed this audio and the narration is wonderful, one of my favorites.

Faith, Love and Pirates! What's not to love!

I enjoy faith based romances but sadly sometimes they lack in story and adventure. This one did not disappoint me at all. What could be more adventurous than Time travel and Pirates?!!

This book has intriguing characters, loads of adventure and a well balanced story of lessons learned through mistakes. The author wonderfully writes characters with human frailties and show's the importance of forgiving and trusting God in all circumstances.

What else can I say? Well, with MaryLu Tyndall's writing and Mary Sarah Agliotta's narration you can't go wrong. ;-)

Swept out on the waves of past times...

This book swept me away on a wonderful adventure. Must admit I mainly bought it due to the narrator, Mary Sarah Agliotta, begin a favorite of mine. I'd been listening to several other books, and simply missed her too much to finish them. So I bit the bullet and bought The Reckoning, which I'd been avoiding up to this point due to the half hearted reviews.

It was a great book. I really can't understand why it wasn't reviewed better. I'm also really hoping Adible picks up all her other books, and has Mary Sarah Agliotta read them, I'd buy them all in a heart beat, and recommend them.

Marylu Tyndall is a wonderful author. I won't doubt her again. In fact i couldn't wait on Adible, so i went online and bought Tears of the Sea, one of her latest. Thanks Adible, and Mary Sarah Agliotta, for introducing me to a new favorite author.

Superb narrating and awesome story!

This audiobook was so amazing! Mrs. Agliotta portrayed each character perfectly and each character's voice was so different from each other's. No confusion on who was speaking. Emphasis was right and when a character was sad or happy or distraught, you felt it along with her/him. Her accents were so enjoyable to listen to, they were just so amazing. She really brought the book to life! I will most definitely be listening to this one again and again!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Bloodline War to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version but I would assume it is as good as the audiobook

What other book might you compare The Bloodline War to and why?

JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood or Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter novels. They have a similar format. A community of "fanged people". Women, sometimes men in peril from their enemies and most importantly love.

What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

He brings the Characters to life, his voice is pure sex! (Wasn't so fond of Kimberly's accent but then I know people who talk like that in real life, annoying but natural.)

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As with many good books it made me both laugh and cry. Particularly the scene with Kimberly (I think) talking to her mate about suffering abuse.

Any additional comments?

I love this book and am now purchasing the series to read them all, Tracy has a unique voice in what could be argued as an overpopulated genre. Her characters are natural and her plot believable and not just the same old same old. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Non stop action

I read this series first and since its been a while waiting for the fourth book, was offered a free audible copy to listen and review. The story is still amazing! I truly love the characters and plot lines. As far as the narrator, it took a few mins to get used to him. At first I thought he sounded like a reporter from the 50's the way he reads...kind of quick and sometimes a little low. I had to adjust my volume up & down. But He does the accents well and the female parts pretty good too. Overall, he doesn't Eva good job.

Worth The Purchase

Each story deals with the holiday season. The first story is set in the present. The dark hunter Gallagher is dealing the loss of his wife and family. The only person that can get through to him is Simi (got to love that girl, she gets right to the point, just don't be near her when she gets hungry). She tells him that family doesn't have to be related to you by blood, but by love and that the heart has an infinite amount of love to give and receive.

The second story takes place in the old west. Michael is a wanted man that returns to his wife after five years on the run from the law. Catherine loves him but she has to find it in her heart to forgive him for leaving her. What Michael needs is a christmas miracle with the law so close by.

I know I read the second story last year but it is a good story. Love lost but always remembered.

Like the first book

I really like the first book of this series. This book is well, kinda icky. First a pregnant women falls in love when her husband dies only months ago.then she is over come with lust when her baby is kidnapped. The story and narrator are ok.but far fetched.hopefully book 3 will be better.

First 2 were Awesome

This story was not the best of the the first 2. This book was mostly about sex. Sex in books is great but this one was based more on that than anything else. No real story. The narrator is Excellent. I am actually only bothering with the last book because he makes it worth it. The first two books in the series were great. My favorite person in this story was Dremu once you've read/listen to the book you will see why and honestly he's not a main character. On to the next book hope it wraps up the series better than this book. Happy Reading!!!

Great addition to the series

Let me just say that I DID like this book. I LOVED the narrator but no shit the entire 2nd half of the book they were naked and underwater and that's all I could focus on.

I was relieved that in this book the brothers didn't get all "you can't be happy you cant have distractions so just focus on the gods and your mission" Dagon pissed me off in the last book with that. nekkidness aside I was happy with this installment in the story. I'm happy that I have to wait practically a year for the next book, it comes out next month. I'm looking forward to Max's story I know it will be totally worthy of my time and credit.

FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

After I read the first book I literally bought the rest of the series back to back. Finished the entire thing in less than a week; I just couldn't stop reading. So for books 2-5 I'm posting the same review as well my reviews don't have spoilers.

Ms. Schulte did it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She took Greek Mythology and put great twists on them. I love how I had the basic classical knowledge and then she brought all the characters to life.

I love the relationship between Selene and Cheney, although to be honest there were times I found them both whiny and wished one of their friends, I think had Femi not had her hands full in another series and had been around just a tad more she'd have smacked them both once or twice.

I can't wait to see which characters Ms. Shulte is going to explore next.

The third and final (?) installment of Easy Bake Coven series

I waited for this book, checking the author's site frequently - and I wish I were still as excited about reading it as I was before it was available.......for some reason, Ms Schulte believes that violence and graphic descriptions of pain make for a good novel, and Serene's trip through hell certainly provided opportunities for graphic descriptions. I'm still confused about what happened between her and the vampire - went back and couple times to read it, and still I don't get the whole deal of why he had to be the one to go with her, other than the fact that he held onto the rod of Charon after she'd stolen it. The book ends with the necromancer's disappearance, and the cliffhanger threat of what the spirits' intentions toward the residents of the Abyss might be. I'm asking myself if I will purchase whatever book is written to resolve that dilemma, or whether I'll still feel "meh" when it's released. It's not totally awful, it's also not totally great. I wish she'd take a class in how to develop plot lines and character so that her novels are plot-character driven rather than impossible disaster with graphic violence-driven.

Spellbinding, but Cheney is annoying

The books in this series are unlike any I've ever read. Pickup Styx is well balanced and contains light, funny moments as well as dark, eerie, sometimes gory situations. Since it's not a mystery novel, there's really no "ah ha!" moment in this book. The story is still very interesting, however.

I gave it four stars for two reasons: 1-it is a bit anti-climactic.

Jumping in anticipation!!!!

loved the stories. I know this has been out for awhile but I cannot find the last series. I liked how each inccubus ground their right one noatter the odds. my one issue is that this ends in a cliffhanger!!!! how long must I wait for the endind and how do they defeat "THE BIG GUY"!!!!! please let me know when its out!!!

WHERE'S VOL 3 ?!?!?!

Volume two was good. I liked VOL.1 slightly better. But I want to know how the story ends or continues. Very much looking forward to VOL. 3
