Highlander is book number 10 in The Impossible Series and the book Alicia finally gets her happy ever after.

We first met Alicia in Rogue, Czar and Crusader, where she is a slave to Russian Mob boss Dimitri. At the end of book 9, Dimitri is gone and Alicia is on the run from MI5 agent Finley.

Finley is hell bent on taking Alicia down, but after hearing her story finds himself wanting to help save her instead. They work together to right the wrongs Alicia has made, all the while helping each other overcome troubled past.

The story was well written and I loved how Julia used Smith and Lydia to help Finley and Alicia overcome the obstacles they face

Great series!

Obsession

The series keep getting better and so twisted. Very strong female characters and one can't help but to get caught up in this series. The mystery surrounding the story line have you keep reading and the sex scenes are dreamy and so divine.

Amazing

This is another amazing book in the Impossible series. This series is full of romance, BDSM, and suspense. If this is what you're looking for than this is the series for you. I would highly recommend this book.

Where was the romance or even any sex?

This is supposed to be a biker book. A romance book. Let's just say it felt like A group of Boy Scouts. I'm so disappointed with this book that I didn't want to finish it. There was more inner dialogue than anything. Even the romance and sex was all inner dialogue. Because there was nothing romantic going on just a lot of people talking about how to get the gun back and not have to do the drug deal. Save your credit!!!

This is the first book by Bella I have read and I really enjoyed it. It is different from other MC books because it is more about Velvet and her daughter than the MC. She does join an MC during the book but even after that they arenât the focus of the book. I loved Ivy and her personality. She is spunky and doesnât take anything from anyone. While she has had a tough life, she hasnât let that stop her and she isnât going to let anything keep her down in the future either. Ivy is a sex worker and she is ready for a change. She works to support her autistic daughter. She is ready to do something she wants to and provide for her daughter. Ivy and the other characters in this book are great. They are there for each other and would do anything for each other. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

Ivy meets Arsenal under very bad circumstances

I enjoyed Velvet Ivy because she chose to make something out of her life even though she had a pretty hard childhood, Ivy made lemonade out of all the lemons her life seem to throw her way. She really didn't have a choice, but there is a saying about if you love your job you give it 100% and Ivy certainly did that and learn to love along the way. I would love to see the future book or books for Ivy. I received a copy as a gift from the author. I'm providing an honest review without obligation.

Great read

This is a really good book. It's about a woman doing what she has to do to survive and for her child. She has her responsibilities and puts her child in a good school and knows this is expensive but still works and she went to school to get ahead. There then comes help,but don't want to spoil the MC part but need to read the next book for more.

Unexpected

This is a somewhat unconventional MC story for me. There were certainly some surprises I didn't see coming. I liked the amount of action in this book, but the relationships and the no-limits aspect wasn't something I was ready for.

Very predictable. honestly did not like the 2 main characters, by the end they were annoying. really loved her other books, this one, not so much.

This was my very first book by Bella Jewel and it will not be the last. Narration was great, was not disappointed at all. The only thing I would change was how quick it revealed the stalker/killer in the end. Should have been built up a little bit more. Other than that very enjoyable.

This book was such a disappointment. The killer was obvious from the get go, so obvious I was waiting for the twist -wish I hadn't bothered. Narration was not good, story line not good ,characters not believable and so much repetition .

A wonderful edition to the Core shadow series

This is the third book in the Core Shadow series but could easily be read as a stand alone. This book centers around Rachel Davis, the tech savvy guru of CORE (think Penelope of Criminal Minds without the unusualness) finds out her brother who she basically raised has been beaten and left for dead in the small town he attends college at. She also learns that his roommate is missing and is the 10th boy to be missing in the last 20 years. Determined to find out what happens she and agent Owen Malcolm are sent to find the killer. Rachel and Owen must race against time to discover who is behind Wexman Hell Week and try to save the missing boy.

Rachel's character is a very strong character. This is her first time as a field agent and she is tough and determined but also a little unsure of herself as a field agent. She was emotional at times, a little naive when it comes to Emotion and relationships but increadibly smart and tough when she needed to be. She had a dimensional character that I really enjoyed. Owen didn'Alpha, over protective male lead and actually complimented Rachel's character quite well. Once again in this book, we got to be inside the villian's head. Kristine Mason write's her villian's with all the creepiness, believability and for a villian they also have dimension. I like knowing what drives my villians to the evil things they do and getting a peak into their deranged minds.

The mystery was good, and the bad guy isn't completely obvious. This is a well written romantic suspense. I enjoyed the relationship between Rachel and Owen and liked that they didn't jump into bed right away (more on this timing in a minute).

You can't hide from your past.

I obtained this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review. Clay is an architect in business with his two best friends. His business is being threatened due to his man whoring ways and his friends are fed up by his last escapade with his assistant. He is starting a new build project in his childhood town he never wanted to see again with an assistant that was picked by his business partner. Alison is Clay's new assistant both having a past that they neither one want to come to the light of day.

4 - 4.5 Stars Really Good

I devoured this book last night and let me tell you that once I started, I couldn't put it down! This book was by a new author for me and so as excited as I was to read it, I was also a bit nervous as to what to expect. The writing I thought was great, the storyline was very good and it flowed pretty seamlessly but I was on the fence with some of the aspects of it when it came to both characters. I guess with both of their past situations, there were parts I didn't care too much for especially Ali's past and wished maybe it had been written about slightly different. Clay's past was truly heartbreaking and I totally felt for him especially once his "issues" were all finally revealed regarding his family:( There was some mystery and suspense and I loved the cast of secondary characters! Talia, oh my, loved this girl and her heartbreaking past nearly did me in at one point. Her and Ali's relationship was so pure and beautiful, true best friends!!!!

With all of that being said and this is going to sound crazy but I felt like the story was so long. OK, it felt long but yet I understand too because of the complexity of the storyline BUT I think I would have preferred it a bit shorter on some of the points. There were a couple of issues that had me baffled and even by the end, I still had no answers. The whole Spencer thing with Marissa, I didn't get that at all and if you read the story you will know.

I am only 15 minutes in and bored as h*ll. The narrator's voice does not work for either character. He does not sound like a black woman or a russian white man. And he just goes on with a dull tone. My mind keeps drifting so I am not really listening.

Nice little romance......

Within the first 5 minutes did the narrator mistakenly call the female MC Ashley twice????? (Haha) I almost returned it. This book is a nice little romance, with only two sex scenes (if your curious). The main drama is the male MC life catching up to him And how he handles it with his new wife involved. Decent book for a quick excape.

I asked for more and I got it!

This is the 1st in the Bad Boys for Hire Series. I previously listened/reviewed book #2 Ken.

Story

Terri Terr Martin is turning 30 and needs a date! She calls the Bad Boys for Hire agency to hire a biker to accompany her to the party her mother is throwing for her. She wants to make a ripple in the pond, not show up with a respectable date. Terry runs her own florist shop to her mothers dismay who is always trying to set her up with someone that will raise the social status of the family.

Ryker is a marine, who just so happens to be a biker, sidelined by a war injury trying to find a job, and its not going well. After an awkward if not embarrassing standoff, Ryker ends up working for Terri. Their chemistry is on fire, but when the meddling mother comes to visit/coerce her into a date, Ryker recognizes a woman from his past and all the pieces fall into place.

Secrets start pouring out, and they are juicy! Seems they have a lot more in common than once thought, and their pasts coming roaring back with a vengeance. The story ends so far from where you think when you first start, but trust me, Its so worth it!

Chris Abell also narrates this title. My opinion of who his voice reminds me of still stands, but I was so enthralled with the story and what was going to happen that I cannot say much more about his performance which should say everything about the job he did!

What did you like best about this story?

This iaudiobook is fun and sexy read that will have you laughing with them, and hoping that Ryker can be a hero. Very entertaining to listen to.

Awesome book!

I loved this book! It is amazingly well written. The characters and the storyline were well developed and complex! There are so many twists the story keeps you engaged from the first page to the last! This is my first book by this author and it will not be my last!

Narration is very much personal preference but I think this was very well done, very professional, I enjoyed every minute!
