I do not want to have to wait for the next book in the series; although, I saw no indication there will be another book in the series. I really liked this & the 1st book.

Outstanding!

When is book three coming out? Outstanding, I was on the edge of my seat. Sarah really knows how to bring surprises and cliff hangers. Can't wait to read the next one.

Captivating, gripping, and arousing...

Split in Two is not only an achievement for Mr.Wood, but a landmark in international story telling and serves itself as an example of what a real story is. This book made me frightened, happy, slightly aroused, and most of all sad. I'm not gonna get into the story itself, I don't wanna spoil it for everyone. It will make you think, it will make you wonder, it will make you feel like you're getting fisted by a really smelly Puerto Rican guy...but that is just the genius of Mr.Wood.

Another hit for Nathan K. Fans

The action starts on the first page and keeps going until the last page. Nathan K. Has his soul and a spare so he's enjoying life for the moment. Then, he agrees to help a girl named Robin and all hell breaks loose. Nathan is still getting the hang of having two souls and in this second adventure he meets more Immortals like himself but much older, colder, and meaner. Robin is a great addition to Nathan's Scooby gang and I hope to see her in future books. Innovative story, action, snappy dialogue, and Thank goodness, no two page descriptions of sunsets. If you like your paranormal thrillers with some sip I encourage you to read the Nathan K Immortals books. Mr. Jaffe has a real knack for telling a tale.

Fast, action packed, suspense filled, fun fantasy at it's best!

Killing Machine (Nathan K Book 2) by Stuart Jaffe is book two in this fabulous fantasy series but can be read as a stand alone. Nathan ends up saving the live of a hacker that has hacked into a corrupt senator's computer and accounts. Now her life is on the line and so is his for sticking up for her. There is an immortal, like Nathan, after them too. Nathan maybe a lot stronger and faster than a regular human but not another immortal and he gets beat up frequently! He is not the best of fighters, but he gets enough licks in to survive. Fortunately, immortals hold 2 souls so if he dies, he releases one soul, repairs himself, and lives. He can't afford to lose both souls so he has to capture another soul to replace the lost soul soon. Nathan and Robin's goal is to get the file online before getting killed, then stay alive for awhile til things calm down. That is the plan anyway... Lots of action, adventure, twists, turns, and suspense. Great fantasy along the way!

Nathan K Rocks!

My new hero is Nathan K. This book starts out fast and doesn't let up.

I still love the Max Porter books, but hey, Nathan is an Immortal. That's what I found cool about him.

I Highly Recommend this Series. So far only two books, but I have a good feeling that it will be worth the wait for the third. (Even though I want it now.)

Whiplash! The action keeps coming and it's great.

Nathan K is back again in the second installment of what I I hope is more to come. Nathan is an immortal who has been wandering the country helping people in need.

Engaging right from the start.

This is a series of 3 detective style stories. It is a mix of horror and mystery tightly bound together that keep you craving for more. The three stories were engaging and kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my my nails, and wondering if I would survive to the end. The book is read by hooror scream queen Brinke Stevens who gave to book even more suspense as she took you through the journey of the three stories.

Rollercoaster of terror

Porzig is great at throwing twists and turns and disturbing moments in along with humorous character quirks and jabs at groups such as news reporters and ghost hunters. This series is a non-stop thrill ride you won't want to put down. Stevens is a good narrator, and while almost too expressive, that's hardly anything to complain about with all the robotic drones of narrators out there. She is great at accents and languages and characterization. Overall, this is a brilliantly crafted series and I love that it's now all combined into one. A great read/listen for the Halloween season, or any time if you love creepy tales.

Houses

Kate Baray writes excellent series with Marin, Spirelli and Bob! This adventure involves a house with personality. I enjoyed the book immensely as the other two stories involved a book and a knife and lastly Joshua. The reader is excellent and his changes to different characters brings the story to life. I had read the first two books but the one about the house was a new one for me. I am glad it was audible because I could picture it in my mind. I look forward to the next book in the series!

Is this book 12?

This just doesn't make any sense! I've read books 1-11 and this book does not follow in sequence! I'm expecting to read that Daisy and sam's relationship has blossomed and improved but he is still "snarling" at her and she still exhibits a negative attitude toward him.

In this book:

Daisy doesn't know Sam's father was in the jewelry business...?

Daisy doesn't have the ring Sam gave her?

Daisy hasn't announced to Mrs. Pinkerton that she was

engaged to Sam?

Daisy and Sam haven't "canoodled" in his little bungalow after

WHY do I know this? Because I read books 1-11!!! What book # is this?

Another beautiful, entertaining and endearing sequel

I am so hooked on the Daisy Gumm Majesty series. She is such a natural soul, utterly believable, as are the wonderful characters she comes in contact with. Alice Duncan has a refreshing way of writing and truly did her research - as if Daisy was an actual person speaking through her through the past. Even the language is spot on with our young lass who truly has her priorities in the right place during a very difficult age. Even though I note 'some' violence and 'some' sexual content, both are more in a subtly suggestive manner, which is also more pertinent to the Daisy Majesty Gumm who must be loved and enjoyed by many.

Lots of fun

This series is NOT great literature, but it is a quick, fun read - highly enjoyable and well-written. I loved all the books, including this one. The plots in this series are fairly obvious and most of the time I have a pretty good idea what's going to happen next with the mysteries - but I am greatly enjoying the journey to get there thanks to the personable and charming writing. The characters are entertaining and interesting, I love the 1920s setting and the bits of history Alice Duncan has included (all of which I have found to be very accurate), and the understanding this has given me of the lives of people in that time period. Not that this book is heavy-handed on the history - quite the opposite. The series gets repetitive in spots (where the writer is filling in background for people who have not read the other books in the series), but is still a lively, enjoyable experience. I purchased the entire series and recommend them to anyone who likes the 1920s and has any interest in the spiritualist movement of that time period.

Crazy Characters

This is one crazy series, fun listen. Tile X and Joe continue their antics using John and Damon. There are many ghosts some fun characters some sad. I recommend to anyone who enjoys listening to weird paranormal fun listens but recommend you start with the other books in series to get the full effect. Not for the Squeamish

Following the multi-storey carpark scene in the previous book (where Serena and her pal take a flying walk to freedom), retired cop John and DCI Damon become the unexpected keepers of Joe and Tile X. The demonic bathroom tiles stick to their usual routine and are soon making hideous and unrelenting demands on the unlucky humans if the unfortunate coppers dont hand over the names for the deadly tiles to slaughter, their joint futures will be short. And very painful.

Though Id already read Confronting the Hostile (book 4 in The Hostile series), I was interested to listen to the audio version to see how it stands up in the entertainment stakes. Actor and voice artist Alexander Doddy narrates this episode, bringing a new dimension to the gory tale with his range of accents and talent as a storyteller. This particular copy came via a free trial with Audible Amazons spoken audio entertainment wing and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another brilliant story

These just get better & better. Tile X & Joe are corrupt and evil and get away with as much as they can. By using humans to do their bidding.

I love the originality of these stories. Whether by audio or kindle book.

Narrator again was fab. Looking forward to the next 1!

Excellent listen

This is a unique character and storyline. Zoe is interesting as she works her way through the problems and challenges she faces. Much about her is only hinted at - there is a great deal yet to be revealed in future books.All the characters are elegant, especially with how they use their magic. And her foes have a particularly special skill that it quite provocative.

There is a great deal of humor which really adds to the experience.

It is an entertaining story with an engaging plot. There is plenty of supernatural action to satisfy most lovers of the genre. The publisher's summary is accurate. The narrator performs well. You believe she is this character and the supporting characters are solid. The production is clean. Easy to listen to. I recommend this audiobook and will be listening to more from this author.

My favorite series

Zoe Delante is a great character. She's smart, she's funny (very dry). She's strong and she doesn't take any crap from anybody. Book 1 was great. This one is even better.

Listen in one sitting

This is the kind of story that makes you want to listen to the whole thing at once. When Zoe's niece is kidnapped, Zoe and her sister work together to find the answers to a snake army that is terrorizing women and children through their connection to their church. We get the right amount of Zoe's personal life mixed in with the crimes, the right amount of fantasy with her wiccan background AND the little something special she got in Book One. Looking forward to more.

Great!!!

Don't start this one unless you have an entire afternoon for it! If not, you'll be late for every appointment because it's impossible to put down.

An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very interesting. This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it as much as the first one. Zoe's life has changed dramatically, not all for the better.

A Really Good Story

This is the second book in the series, and it was fantastic. Mary is an angel now on Earth. Her wings were taken by demons after they had tortured her, and she is now looking for them. This is a fast paced thrill ride with a really great protagonist that I fell in love with. I love her strength, her determination, and I love her humor. And I love all the trouble she gets herself into. I have always loved Erin Bedford's writing and this series proves true to her excellent skill. I highly recommend this series.

This was an awesome second entry into the series

This was an awesome second entry into the series. It picks up shortly after the events of the first book. Mary is beginning to adjust to feeling more like a human, especially with her feelings for Sid, while continuing to search for Ramiel. The end of the book contains a slight bit of a cliff-hanger/set-up for the third book.

Everything I have read by Erin Bedford I have thoroughly enjoyed, and this was no exception!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. However, I enjoyed the book so much that I had to buy it as well, just to show support for the author.

Loved it!

Mary is one tough angel. She lets nothing get in her way. She has a sense of rightness, but she's not afraid to cross a line when necessary for those she cares about. I love the twists and turns this book throws. It's very hard to put it down once you start it and I can't wait for the next one. I enjoy Sid so much. He is supposed to a be bad guy, but he has so much humanity coursing through him and you can tell he genuinely cares about Mary. He really keeps things interesting. This is an excellent read.

A Great Sequel

A fast paced action packed story . It has everything you want in a sequel and more . Loved the chemistry between Mary and Sid . I love this series and highly recommend it . It's a well written series and Erin Bedford can tell a great story . If your a fan of Angels and demons in stories read this series you won't be disappointed .

Nice continuation

Another good story in this series . I like the character development and am going to immediately jump into the next book.
