Hello! As we continue this series on our relationship with change, we will talk about what comes after inspiration strikes. The inspiration prompts us to imagine what it would be like to:
Be in a new place
Have a new relationship
Feel better
Then, we start to:
Daydream
Research
Make plans
This second stage of change can be really exciting, but it can also be where fear, doubt, and worry begin to creep in. It also can require the most time and emotional resources. It’s where we start to see the road ahead of us and what might be needed to make our dreams a reality.
If you’re feeling stuck while exploring your relationship with change, journaling can be a useful tool. A plain pad of paper and pen will do, or you can use the Treasured Journal, which includes questions, prompts, and sentence stems to help you open up and express your thoughts.
