Moms aren't supposed to get sick. They definitely shouldn't get diagnosed with heart failure . . . in their mid-20s . . . after giving birth to a new baby.

But life doesn't always go by "supposed to" rules.

This week's guest, Julie Manning, found God to be good even in the midst of suffering. And found Him to be faith even in pulling her out of depression and helping her live each day surrendered to His plan. Even if each day could be her last. . .

As the mom to three young boys, Julie honestly shares the struggle of daily fear and wrong "what ifs" that fill her mind. What if she collapses while pushing the stroller? What if this is the last time she'll kiss her husband?

God was faithful to use the community around us. They would send me Scripture via email or text. God's Word came after me even when I didn't want to open my Bible. Slowly over time that truth over took the negative thoughts I was having.
