Locked On Browns - Daily Podcast On The Cleveland Browns

Jeff Lloyd is joined by NFL Spin Zone's Pete Smith as we break down the other threats to the 2019 AFC North Title. The Ravens, will they Let Jackson be a true Quarterback, what will they need around him. Their D is always tough and if thy re-sign Mosley that won't change. The Steelers will the drama on O lead to Antonio Brown bring gone? The Defense has a bad secondary and needs help at the inside linebacker spot. They will only draft these fix's because they don't pay FA's. They Bengals, a ton of holes and no QB, combined with no Line backers and they can't find anybody to take their DC gig. Also 2019 predicted order of finish in the AFC North. #Browns #BakerMayfield #MylesGarrett #NickChubb

FA targets smaller scale ones and a couple of the big names. LB's draft or FA, with a focus on coverage and tackling. Kyler Murray? is this guy an NFL QB or not? spoiler, he is. And much more #Browns #BakerMayfield #MylesGarrett #JoeSchobert #NickChubb

Jeff Lloyd is joined by The Draft Network LLC's Brad Kelly to talk the WR position, the Browns Play makers and the Brad's look at the WR class. Brad feels David Njoku is a rising star at the position, Antonio Callaway may continue to be a guy who runs hot and cold and that's ok for what the Browns have invested in him. If you want that guy who could be that true "WR 1" it's DK Metcalf, and drafting him at 17 is ok but have "patience" with him and the selection. Brad highlighted some of the bigger WR's who some of you listeners want to add to the roster. Brad also highlighted some the great route running, reliable catcher's who I feel suit Baker better. Brad went in on some of this TE class and yes it's as good as advertised. #Browns #DavidNjoku #BakerMayfield #NFLDraft

Jeff Lloyd goes solo for the first in a long time giving you his Browns mock draft. Using the Fanspeak app to make all of the eleven picks that the Front Office will have at their disposal. Jeff used 3 selections on the DL group which needs guys who can help and produce so #MylesGarrett and #LarryOgunjobi don't have to continue to play an insane amount of reps. Jeff add's his favorite CB in the class, who fits the mold of the FA CB's that Dorsey and company brought in during their first off-season. He also added two highly productive LB's who should help bring more athleticism and coverage ability to a group in need of that. He was able to bring in two Ohio kids to help the skill positions on offense and have a guy who can handle 12-18 carries in the event Nick Chubb had to miss a game or two. There is no able to truly bring you what Baker Mayfield does but there's a guy who's maybe a little Baker light light and Jeff added him. #Browns #BakerMayfield #NickChubb #NFLDraft

SB 53, not the greatest game for guys like us but still admire the work done on the defensive side of the ball. Positional needs the Browns need to address to make for January Football. Jake's video work's direction during the off-season and much more.. #Browns #BakerMayfield #MylesGarrett #NFLDraft

Jeff Lloyd is joined by NFL Spin Zone's Pete Smith to put a bow a on SBLIII and the 2018 NFL season. If you love you love defense this was the Super bowl for you, Wade Phillips and Bill B did a fantastic job controlling opposing O's. The Rams have only themselves to blame for not capitalizing on early Pats mistakes. Edelaman, Gronk, Sony, were huge factors when came down to crunch time. Mcvay, Goff, never found a rhythm, and Gurley who is obviously hurt, and CJ Anderson couldn't aide the Rams O like they did earlier during the playoffs. Baker losing the OROY race, just aides to the #browns thoughts of "Us against the world" And with all of this it's officially the off-season. Be excited Browns fans it's our time.

Jeff Lloyd is joined by Western Illinois Khalen Saunders the "back flip" guy who's now become a very sought after Draft commodity come April. Good athlete on tape, out together a very solid Senior Bowl week while going through the biggest personal part of his life in becoming a first time father. Talked his HS athletic days, his recruitment, what he's working on through the draft process, Football wise and Combine and Pro Day wise. He gave us a SB pick, and mentioned Aaron Donald a guy any DT should be trying to emulate. Also just how much having his name called come late April is going to mean.

Jeff Lloyd is joined by Ourlads.com's Dan Shonka, if you want to talk legends of the scouting world he is one of them. We focused on the offensive side of the ball, he liked the promoting of Freddie Kitchens to HC. Baker who was a favorite of Dan's and his staff felt the two meshed very well in what at the time was a bad situation. We talked the LT position and are the Browns set there, maybe not and Dan gave us some names that could fill the need albeit not in round one. Running backs that could be the caddy to Nick Chubb. Does Baker need a true #1 WR? No, guys who will get open and consistently catch passes thrown to the. This TE class is stacked, stacked. Hockenson could be a guy for the at 17. And he gave us some defensive favorites of his. #Browns #BakerMayfield
