We have our season in review for the San Diego Gulls, and joining the podcast is a special guest! While the San Diego Gulls didn't have as much success as they would have hoped, there was still some significant improvements compared to the previous season. The Anaheim Ducks have a slew of young prospects ready to break out next season. Which young guys could make a huge difference, and who may wind up helping the San Diego Gulls? JD Hernandez talks all about prospects in this weekend episode. Which defensemen could crack the roster next season, and who could be left out? On the final game of the NHL season, the Anaheim Ducks had the opportunity to play spoiler and affect the Western Conference playoff picture... and succeeded! JD Hernandez talks about the noteworthy game Frank Vatrano had netting his third hat trick of the season. He put the cherry on top of a stellar season leading all Ducks in goal scoring, so should he be in the Ducks' long-term plans? Also, there was some solid play all around from the kids, including Cutter Gauthier who scored his first NHL point, and Trevor Zegras who has been good when he's healthy. Finally, we bid farewell to Jakob Silfverberg who played in his last NHL game, and was shown the ultimate respect from the Golden Knights.

The San Diego Gulls put together a couple strong efforts against teams just down the road... but nothing to show for it as they have another losing streak on their hands. JD Hernandez talks about the player movement going on, and how it has affected the Ducks' AHL squad. The Gulls put on a great performance in Ontario only to lose in overtime, then play one of their best games of the season in Coachella Valley... only to lose in the final minutes of the game thanks to some puck luck going the Firebirds' way. With only two games remaining in the season against the Firebirds, these games have little meaning for either team. However, we finish by looking at the wild Pacific Division standings and where each team could wind up by the end of the regular season.
