Locked On Heat - Daily Podcast On The Miami Heat

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo work together? What are the biggest questions the Miami Heat must answer before they can become championship contenders? Wes Goldberg and David Ramil identify the three biggest issues facing the Heat entering the season, starting with how Erik Spoelstra can maximize the partnership between Antetokounmpo and Adebayo. Can two non-traditional offensive stars coexist without sacrificing spacing?

Then they examine Miami's late-game offense and debate whether concerns about crunch-time scoring are overblown given Giannis' track record as a closer. Finally, they discuss the Heat's biggest bench questions, which young players are best positioned to exceed expectations, and what Miami should prioritize with its remaining roster spots before opening night. Plus, why perimeter shooting and frontcourt depth could determine whether this roster reaches its championship ceiling.

It's mailbag Friday! Wes Goldberg and David Ramil answer your biggest questions about the Miami Heat's offseason, starting with what it would mean if LeBron James signed for a veteran minimum or below-market contract under the NBA's new CBA. They discuss just how valuable that kind of roster-building advantage would be and how it could reshape Miami's championship outlook.

Then they debate how the Heat's rotation would change if LeBron returns, whether Kyrie Irving should even be on Miami's radar, and which veteran free agents make the most sense if the Heat land LeBron but still have one roster spot to fill. Finally, they build the ideal version of Miami's opening-night roster, explain why flexibility could be more valuable than using every roster spot immediately, and share the most exhausting trade rumors and superstar sagas they've covered over the years.
