Locked On Islanders - Daily Podcast On The New York Islanders

The New York Islanders updated us on the status of Ilya Sorokin, as Lou Lamoriello addressed the media and  explained that Sorokin will miss the beginning of training camp with an upper body injury but should be ready to go for the regular season.

The Islanders also announced that Cal Clutterbuck will not sign with the club, but Matt Martin has been invited to training camp on a PTO giving him a chance to return for the 2024-25 NHL season.

And we discuss some ways the Islanders can improve the way they develop their prospects with two big things they Islanders don't do that nearly every other NHL team does.
