Are we finally seeing Cohen spend the way he has wanted to all along?

Host Ryan Finkelstein explains how Cohen was telegraphing this level of spending with his comments over recent years, but also why the Mets have a really smart plan in place to become sustainable into the future.

You know the best way to replace Brandon Nimmo? You just re-sign Brandon Nimmo.

The New York Mets re-signed their center fielder on Thursday to an eight-year, $162 million deal and added David Robertson on a one-year, $10 million deal as well.

Host Ryan Finkelstein rejoices in the signing and the commitment to make Nimmo a lifelong Met.

The New York Mets needed to sign at least one middle of the rotation starter to round out their staff and they did just that on Wednesday, landing Jose Quintana on a two-year deal.

Host Ryan Finkelstein explains why this really is a steal of a contract and the best move the Mets could have made in this part of the free agent market.

Also, the Mets are still reportedly in on Kodai Senga. Should the Mets sign him, or is it more of a priority to re-sign Brandon Nimmo?

With the Winter Meetings in full swing, we are seeing names fly off the board in free agency, particularly in the starting pitching market.

Taijuan Walker has landed with the Phillies and it looks like Andrew Heaney and Jameson Taillon are off the board as well. Is it essentially Chris Bassitt, Kodai Senga or bust for the New York Mets?

Host Ryan Finkelstein breaks down how the Mets could fill their need for a third starter in free agency when the cost of pitching is at an all-time high.

Also, with Cody Bellinger and Mitch Haniger off the board, do the Mets have to really focus on re-signing Brandon Nimmo?
