Locked On Nuggets - Daily Podcast On The Denver Nuggets

Jamal Murray is considered to be a high-level star player. But he's never made an All-Star team, or come all that close. He often starts seasons off slow. Coming off major injury, is there a path to getting Murray to start off hot by adjusting his game and what does shot selection have to do with that? Plus, a look at the debacle in Brooklyn and why having a superstar, all-world player often times isn't enough, you also need players to have the right mindset. Basically, why Nikola Jokic being closer to Tim Duncan and Steph Curry than LeBron James and Kevin Durant is so impressive. All this and more on a tasteful Locked On Nuggets.

Did it surprise Seth to find him here from where he was two years ago? Where do Jamal Murray and MPJ fit after their injuries and will they go up or down after next season? Plus one underrated Nugget, and a player who isn't on the tiers list but should be next season. All that and more on Locked on Nuggets.

Is Bones Hyland ready for the expectations on him this season as the lead guard off the bench? What does a bad season or him look like and what would it mean? Nikola Jokic is about to play a lot of basketball as Eurobasket begins later this month and goes right up until training camp. Can Jokic handle that kind of workload and how can Denver help keep him fresh for the playoffs? Plus, if Kevin Durant goes to the Western Conference, is Denver's window closed?
