The Nuggets extend KCP for two more years, a no-brainer for the team to give them more flexibility now and going forward. Why the deal makes sense and will help the Nuggets with both building and changing the team as it grows. A look at Summer League Game 3 and the shooting struggles of Christian Braun and the inconsistency of Peyton Watson. Plus, Kamagate stays solid defensively, Ryan Bowen has been great as coach of the Summer League team, Donovan Mitchell might get sent to the Knicks, and Jamal Murray is supposed to start with a minutes restriction. The Nuggets lose the first game of Summer League but the young guys look solid. Christian Braun's patience was impressive. The Nuggets' top rookie looks like he belongs. What player did Matt tell the Nuggets they need to convert immediately? Trying to find the right way to describe Payton Watson's performance is difficult because it's parsing whether you can be a disaster if you were expected to be bad. Adonis Arms looks good, Matt disagrees with consensus on Collin Gillespie, and Bruce Brown speaks to the media. All that and more on Locked on Nuggets.

World's Finest react to the Bruce Brown signing and where this team's roster ranks in terms of talent and fit in the Jokic era. What are the downsides or pushback to the Bruce Brown signing? Then, a look at the Western Conference and how it didn't... necessarily get better, just different? Of course, that all depends on where Kevin Durant winds up, which we talk about in the final segment.

Denver adds Bruce Brown, why it matters so much beyond the value of the player and what he unlocks with the rotation. Plus, more on where Deandre Jordan fits in the rotation, a look at the Gobert trade and what it means for Denver and why the Nuggets don't need more than what they have now.

Denver's first big move of free agency was for DeAndre Jordan, which may be subtraction by addition. The Nuggets' moves at the draft make less sense now and the free agency carousel is already getting tight. Did Denver miss its window to improve and is this team's depth once again going to sink their hopes of being a serious title contender? Plus, Jokic agrees to the supermax (good news!) and Adam dreams of a Nuggets parade.
