In segment one of this episode I look at the ways the Denver Nuggets can improve in game two. What adjustments can they make? And in what ways might they have been unlucky that they probably won't be in game two?
In segment two, I look at some of the areas that they had success in game one but probably won't find success in game two.
In segment three, I do the same exact thing for the Portland Trail Blazers. Should we expect Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum to shoot better from behind the arc? Will they make a change to who guards Nikola Jokic?

In this episode, I share my notes from an action packed game one of the Western Conference semi-finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers. The story of the game was the two-man play between Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic in the pick and roll. The two Nuggets cornerstones looked like Stockton and Malone, playing off of each other so nicely and just dismantling the Portland defense with the PnR. I talk about what made that action so effective, the value of delivering the ball to Jokic in the paint, Paul Millsap's timely buckets, and Denver's second unit that looks like it is ready for a resurgence.

In this episode, I talk about Nikola Jokic’s historic game six performance and where the Denver Nuggets go from here. I share my notes from the game including the inconsistency of Torrey Craig’s defense on DeMar DeRozan, the Nuggets not taking advantage of Derrick White’s foul trouble, and Michael Malone’s decision to sit Jokic for a crucial stretch to open the 4th quarter.

In this episode I share my notes on Denver's impressive win over the San Antonio Spurs in game 5. Jamal Murray played one of the most complete games of his career, Gary Harris continued to put the locks on Derrick White, and Nikola Jokic was his usual brilliant self. I talk about why I've been so impressed with Michael Malone and his staff in this series and wonder if the Nuggets are truly back to their best self. The game couldn't have been more positive for the Denver Nuggets.

In this upbeat episode, I share my notes on Denver's potentially season-altering win over the San Antonio Spurs in game 4. Torrey Craig shined like a crazy diamond in his playoff debut as a starter, Jamal Murray played an ideal bounce back game, and Nikola Jokic looked like the most dominant version of himself. I also discuss Michael Malone's decision to wait until game 4 to make a lineup change, Will Barton's postgame comments, and why Gary Harris had one of the most impressive 8-point games possible. At the end, I hand out grades for every key contributor on the roster.
