What a win. The Orioles erased a 7-0 deficit in the 7th inning, stormed back to beat the Tigers 10-9 in 12 innings, and delivered their largest comeback win since 2009. Luke Slabaugh breaks down one of the wildest games of the season on the Orioles Postcast, including Gunnar Henderson, Coby Mayo, Jackson Holliday, Taylor Ward, Yohel Pozo, and Colton Cowser all fueling Baltimore’s unforgettable rally. How did the O’s do it? What does this say about the team’s talent, inconsistency, and what could be next with the trade deadline looming? This one had everything: A battle with Tarik Skubal. A seven-run comeback. Firsts, heroics, and extra-inning chaos. And a reminder that with this Orioles team, anything is possible. If you love Orioles baseball, stay locked in for the most insightful postgame coverage, energy, and analysis around.

The Orioles were blown out 14-0 in Detroit in a game that was never competitive. Dean Kremer had a nightmare start, the pitching staff spiraled, and Baltimore made franchise history for all the wrong reasons by allowing runs in every inning of a completed game, per MASN. Luke Slabaugh breaks down the Orioles’ brutal loss, Kremer’s rough outing, the offense’s total lack of production, and what this kind of collapse means for a team trying to stay in the playoff race. If you’re an Orioles fan, this is the one to vent about — pull up and let’s get into it.

How many times are we going to watch this same movie? The Orioles fall 3-2 in 11 innings to the Braves—and the extra-inning failures are becoming a full-blown problem. Baltimore is now 3-6 in extras, 9-17 in one-run games, and 6-8 in rubber games. The margins are screaming at you. And this one? Completely self-inflicted. Top of the 10th: bases loaded, nobody out. Gunnar Henderson gets four straight sweepers with a FIVE-man infield and Mauricio Dubón playing in from left—open grass everywhere. Instead of taking what’s given, he tries to yank it and lines into a brutal unassisted double play at third. Opportunity gone in seconds. 11th inning: more chances, same result. Passive at-bats, Mayo goes down looking, Taveras works a walk, Holliday is intentionally walked to load the bases… and Sam Huff rolls it over to end the game. That’s it. That’s the ballgame. The Orioles’ 4th and 5th string catchers? 1-for-24 this week. It’s catching up to them in the biggest spots. They did fight to get here—Christian Encarnacion-Strand starts the 9th with a walk, Mayo pinch runs, Albies’ error moves him to third, and Holliday ties it with a productive groundout. That’s how you manufacture a run. But in extras? No execution. None. Luke Slabaugh breaks down the approach failures, the situational hitting issues, and why this trend in close games should seriously concern Orioles fans right now. This isn’t random anymore—this is identity. If you’re frustrated, you should be. And if you want real Orioles talk that actually matches what you’re feeling—this is your show. Subscribe for daily Orioles postgame reactions, smart analysis, and the insight that keeps you ahead of the game.

The Orioles FINALLY come through in the clutch—and it’s Dylan Beavers delivering AGAIN. On a 100 MPH first-pitch heater, Beavers shoots a walk-off single through the right side to score Jackson Holliday and lift the O’s to a 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves. It’s Beavers’ THIRD career walk-off hit as Baltimore improves to 9-16 in one-run games. Brandon Young was electric and deserved better. The right-hander spun 6.1 innings of one-run ball with 6 strikeouts, continuing a dominant stretch since Memorial Day (2.65 ERA over his last 11 starts). His season ERA now sits at 3.13—and the Orioles are 13-3 in his starts. Things nearly unraveled late as Rico Garcia gave up another costly homer—this time a game-tying shot to Ozzie Albies on a hanging changeup in the 8th. Offensively, the O’s capitalized on chaos early, scoring an unearned run after a misplayed pop-up by Jim Jarvis. Christian Encarnacion-Strand stays red-hot, driving in his 9th RBI in just 6 games with Baltimore—continuing a historic start with the club. Gunnar Henderson added insurance with his 18th homer of the year on a first-pitch hanging slider. This is what clutch looks like. This is what Orioles baseball feels like when it HITS. Hosted by Luke Slabaugh—bringing you the Orioles Postcast with energy, insight, and the story behind the story.

The Orioles had it. A 2-0 start, another quality outing from Trevor Rogers, and chances to put away the NL East-leading Braves — and it still ends in a 7-6 extra-innings loss. This one hurts. Luke Slabaugh breaks down how Baltimore let it slip: two blown leads, a 10th-inning defensive collapse, and a bullpen that couldn’t finish off Rogers’ third straight quality start. With the playoff race tightening, these are the games you cannot lose. In the 10th, Andrew Kittredge allows a Joey Bart single, then Jackson Holliday’s rushed throw from his knees turns into a costly two-base error. Two batters later, Matt Olson crushes a three-run homer to right — a backbreaker. Trevor Rogers was outstanding again: 7 IP, 2 ER, 6 K, 0 BB — now a 1.48 ERA in July and over 600 career strikeouts. He deserved better. Offensively, the O’s left too much on the table (2-for-11 with RISP AND 10 MEN LEFT ON BASE). Christian Encarnacion-Strand continues to rake: a 2-run double early and an opposite-field HR in the 10th — 8 RBI in his first 5 games with Baltimore, historic production out of the gate. Jackson Holliday also added a sac fly, but it wasn’t enough. Big picture: Baltimore drops to 3-5 in extras and 8-16 in one-run games (tied worst in MLB). That’s the difference in a postseason chase. If you’re feeling this one, you’re not alone. Let’s talk it out — what’s the fix? Subscribe for daily Orioles coverage, postgame reactions, and deep-dive analysis you won’t get anywhere else.
