The Baltimore Orioles get absolutely run out of Camden Yards in a brutal 9-3 loss to the Chicago White Sox — and it’s deeper than just one bad night. Luke Slabaugh breaks down a disastrous outing from rookie Trey Gibson, who completely lost the zone: 8 earned runs, 6 walks, and a 7-run third inning that buried the O’s early. From Colson Montgomery’s blast to a shocking homer by 9-hole hitter Junior Perez, the White Sox took full control and never looked back. This loss seals the Orioles’ first series defeat to Chicago since 2021 and drops them to 9 games under .500. The numbers are piling up: 205-206 record under David Rubenstein 11-16 in June 4-game losing streak Season-low point Offensively, there were small flashes — Dylan Beavers’ clutch double, Pete Alonso cashing in, and Samuel Basallo continuing to produce — but it wasn’t nearly enough to overcome another pitching collapse. This isn’t just a loss. It’s a warning sign. If you care about where this team is headed, this episode is for you. Subscribe for daily Orioles analysis, postgame breakdowns, and real talk you won’t get anywhere else.

Shane Baz gives a solid effort on a brutal night, and the Orioles still find a way to lose. Luke Slabaugh hosts the Orioles Postcast after Baltimore drops another frustrating one to the White Sox, this time an 8-2 defeat that had everything go wrong late. Baz set a career-high with 109 pitches, retired 11 of his last 12 batters, and gave the Orioles every chance to win. They didn’t take it. The offense stayed cold, finishing 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position, while Adley Rutschman gave Baltimore some early life with two sacrifice flies. But the late innings completely fell apart — Yennier Cano allowed four straight hits in the ninth, Chase Meidroth reached on a misplayed ball by Gunnar Henderson, and Blaze Alexander’s error at third helped turn the game into a blowout. This episode breaks down the full collapse: the wasted start, the bullpen meltdown, the defensive miscues, and the continued frustration of an offense that couldn’t deliver when it mattered most. The Orioles drop BOTH Beltway Series matchups to the Nationals—and this one stings. A 6-4 loss that felt even worse than the score shows. Kyle Bradish came in red-hot with a 12 1/3-inning scoreless streak… and then it unraveled fast. Five walks, a big third inning, and one brutal defensive mistake that flipped everything. We break down the moment that changed the game: a routine grounder turned into a spiked throw at third that gifted Washington a critical run. Add in a Luis Garcia Jr. two-run double and suddenly the Orioles were chasing all night. Offensively, Pete Alonso and Jackson Holliday delivered clutch two-out, two-run homers—but it wasn’t enough to overcome the damage. If you’re frustrated, you’re not alone. Let’s talk about what this loss actually means, what’s trending the wrong way, and what needs to change NOW. Subscribe for Orioles postgame coverage you won’t get anywhere else.

This one will drive you crazy.
The Orioles fall 4-3 in 10 innings to the Nationals in a game that had everything — solid pitching, late offense, and a brutal ending. Luke Slabaugh breaks it all down on the Orioles Postcast.
Let’s start with Brandon Young:
Offensively, it was a grind. Chadwick Tromp somehow records 2 of the Orioles’ hits, and the lineup leaves 8 men on base while going 3-for-9 with runners in scoring position.
Then came the late drama:
But in the 10th… Ryan Helsley gives up the go-ahead RBI single to Daylen Lile.
And the final gut punch?
If it feels like one step forward, one step back… you’re not alone. Let’s break down what this means and why this loss hits harder than most.

Trevor Rogers set the tone as the Orioles take Game 1 of the Beltway Series, beating the Nationals 3-1 on Friday night. Rogers was in complete control: 6.1 innings, 1 earned run, 7 strikeouts, and no walks. He’s now sitting at a 2.05 ERA in June and pitching like a major piece of this rotation. Tyler Wells stays sharp out of the bullpen, extending his scoreless streak and locking things down late. The offense did just enough—and delivered in key moments. The Orioles go 3-for-12 with runners in scoring position, highlighted by a clutch two-run single from Blaze Alexander. Coby Mayo continues to produce with two doubles, including an RBI knock vs a right-hander. Tyler O’Neill adds a double, two walks, and a run scored, while Taylor Ward goes 3-for-5 and crosses the plate. Pitching, timely hits, and execution—that’s how you take the opener of a rivalry series. Luke Slabaugh breaks it all down on the Orioles Postcast with insight, energy, and the context every O’s fan needs after this one. Photo: Lexi Thompson - Imagn Images

Absolute gut punch in Anaheim. The Orioles had this game WON — two outs in the 10th, up one — and somehow handed it away in one of the most chaotic, painful finishes of the season. Luke Slabaugh breaks down a brutal 7-6 walk-off loss to the Angels where defensive miscues and bullpen struggles flipped everything. A routine grounder from Nolan Schanuel turns into a nightmare sequence, Keegan Akin can’t secure the out, Samuel Basallo misses a tag at the plate on a 15-footer from Logan O'Hoppe, and the O’s literally beat themselves. We get into: The two-out 10th inning collapse that cost Baltimore the game Basallo’s wild night: 2 HRs… and a missed tag 7 walks from the pitching staff and a bullpen pushed too far Trey Gibson’s uneven outing after giving up a Soler bomb Craig Albernaz’s risky bullpen game — and why it backfired This is the kind of loss that sticks with a team — and the kind Orioles fans won’t forget anytime soon. If you’re as fired up (or sick) as we are, this is your space. Let’s talk about it. Subscribe for Orioles postgame analysis, breakdowns, and real talk all season.
